Tom Ford Visionaire Eye Color Quad Review & Swatches
Visionaire
Tom Ford Beauty Visionaire Eye Color Quad ($88.00 for 0.35 oz.) includes one sparkly eyesahdow, two more frosted eyeshadows, and one satin eyeshadow. The sparkly shade didn’t build up coverage as well and had light fallout during wear, but the other three shades performed well: pigmented, blendable, and long-wearing. The brand has quite the breadth in quads these days, but the most of the shades were unusually similar to other quads in the range.

Visionaire #1
Visionaire #1 is a light, yellow gold with moderate, warm undertones and a sparkling finish. It had semi-opaque coverage, which did not build up nor did it improve when applied with a dampened brush. The texture was soft, smooth, and felt a bit bouncy as the texture was yielding but not in a powdery way. It stayed on well for eight hours but had light fallout over time.

Too spendy and too dupe-able!
Christine – just out of curiousity, do you still do/rate products that are exceptional as “Temptalia Recommends”? I used to love seeing those (we won’t talk about how many I may have purchased) – it was always like “Gold Star Plus Plus”!
Temptalia Recommends isn’t necessarily about being exceptional! They are just products that really spoke to me/that I liked (and that may not mean A+), and yes, it is still in use!
Good to know. I always liked seeing it. I guess when I said A++, I meant that they were special so exceptional in that sense.
You can always see them under Favorites > Editor’s Favorites
https://www.temptalia.com/favorites/
The most recently recommended show up at the top! (“View More” will show you more of them!)
DUH to me! I recall the “old” “Temptalia Recommends” wording and didn’t realize that it has been replaced with the pink flower icon and “rec’d” – which I thought meant you’d received it free of charge for review. Like I said “DUH to me!”
This one is also very blah for me. It just has nothing special going on with it. Plus, I know I can dupe every shade in it. Hard pass.
When you only have 4 shades to get right, given that the brand has created soft golds before really well, and you charge a squillion dollars for said quad…..that subtle gold shade really is poor.
I also think that the two brown shades are far too similar to each other as well.
I guess I am just liking Dior’s recent quints better.
Lol! I am going to use this! “A Squillion” I love it! Haha! You made my Friday Genevieve! Thank you I really needed that laugh! I have never in my life heard of that before, is it something that Aussies say?
So far I have never bought any TF palettes, I’m waiting for the one that is going to blow me away. I’m still waiting, and I guess I always read the negative reviews and talk myself out of them because at that price it has to be near perfect.
