Oh, it’s a lip BALM! I thought that it was a nude lipstick and I was, like “NOT very festive for the Holiday season but then again, maybe it reflects how we’re all feeling”. Because Tom Ford’s quads are over $100 in Canada and so many of them are less than worth it (when I’m tempted to throw both caution and a whole lot of money to the wind, I think of Nancy’s recent experience and that sobers me), I may one of these days, when I’m having a “more money than sense” sort of day, purchase one of them but not in the near future.

Mariella, I see that you remembered my very sad and disappointing experience with the Honeymoon Quad, LOL! Yeah, that was bad, for real. However, whenever I’ve swatched his Nude Dip or other wet/dry palettes, they do seem far more reflective and rich in pigment than that poorly formulated HM quad. If I don’t get ND Glam Palette, I may get this instead of it reviews well.

Yup, I remember very well how disappointed you were and I also recall some recent pretty poor reviews of some of his newer quads here on Temptalia. If the quads were $45, it would be different (I’d still want to avoid the stinkers, for sure) but at $115, it is just obscene and it’s not like I’m not able to dupe most of what I like so that’s a big factor for me too.

The photos are different (not like, substantially, but they are not exactly the same – this year’s basically appears darker for all shades except the top left), and the only info I have is what Sephora has, unfortunately. I looked again, and the swatch images on face/skin for this quad are labeled “First Frost,” which would imply it is different, though at this point, it could certainly be very, very similar.

That quad looks perfect for everyday use, like for the majority of days when I’m just not feeling particularly creative, but still need to run off to get something done. I love all 4 shades. A rarity for me with smaller palettes. But $88? Idk about that. I have a terminally ill cat to tend to. That’s where the bulk of my coins are heading towards.

Hello, Nude Dip!! I do adore you (enough that I bought backups, not knowing it would be made permanent), but I do not need you again with slightly more shimmer and different packaging! And, as beautiful as last winter’s offerings were (and they were), they were easily duped with NARS shadows. I am not ragging on Tom Ford in any way, though; I bought his two latest glitter-bomb palettes, because from me, that’s not an insult…

Okay this feels like wash, rinse, repeat from last year’s holiday collection. I own 4 quads and won’t be purchasing anymore. I’m honestly thinking about reselling them. With over 60 palettes I’ve barely used them. Anyone interested I have: Soliel Neige, Soliel Et Lune, Meteoric and Nude Dip?

I want to see swatches of that lip balm, which looks like it will wear more like a lipstick than anything else . I’m interested in the “formulated to look like sunlight bouncing off snow” look. They should make lipsticks with that in mind as well, something like that balm but with more color payoff.

I purchased this quad a few weeks ago and absolutely love it! It works so well on my aging eyes and is perfect for everyday. Colors performs beautifully and gives my eyes a chic look. I even bought a back up that’s how impressed I was with the quad.
