I saw this email yesterday from Tom Ford. My wallet is not ready for this! Any word of when to expect it in stores?
Neiman Marcus shows a ship date of 4/3 or 4/4 – I know it’s right around the beginning of April when I saw it this AM.
Ok,Thanks! Thankfully, there are a lot of repromotes!
I’m strong at this point with much of this collection repromos or already in stash. There might be a few pieces, but thankfully not a cart full. The prices are soooo steep!
That blush combo looks SO. PRETTY. Although the description sounds like the NARS wet/dry formula–not sure that applying a blush wet will make it sheerer than dry! Also, the “contouring” compact looks suspiciously like the estee Lauder compact you just reviewed…here’s hoping it performs better, and isn’t the same ho hum product at double the price, since Tom Ford Beauty is owned by Estée Lauder ! Also. The model appears to be suffering from heat stroke.
You’re right: she DOES!!! Bring that poor child some coconut water and an ice pack, please!
Hahahahahaha!
Nancy, good one! This made me laugh!
The name of the collection and even the promo photo is from last summer!
Hahah, just what I thought! She looks like she’s in need of medical attention.
LOL Julie! She does, doesn’t she?
Wau, so beautiful ?. Christine, willyou rewiev lipsticks? And what is TBA? Thanks dor answer ?
To Be Announced. I don’t have info on what’s LE/permanent except as TF actually deigns to note on the website (which was only on a few items).
My wallet is glad the cream shadow/duos are re-promotes, because it already got hit with 2 cream shadows (Blue Siren & Sphinx) from their spring collection, but curious about some of the blushes and other products
Im usually TF crazed but i have to say I am a little disappointed with this collection. So many repromotes from last year, even the photo is a repromote! Although the new blush duo and face compact are pretty, if you are a TF junkie its likely you already have the TF bronzer and a pink blush.
Interesting that there’s so much overlap between this year’s summer collection and last year’s. Even the promo image is identical, and the model is wearing a lipstick that’s not even offered this year! That being said, it is good for the bank account. 🙂
My thoughts exactly.
Oddly enough, I like that much is repromote because it gives people an opportunity to buy what they might have missed. I like the blush duo and I’m starting to think he should release more of those! Obviously, I won’t be purchasing any of it due to the sheer cost per piece but I’m interested in hearing reviews of the cream and the blush duo for sure.
I wish they would bring back the super beautiful Escapade eye color! It was the most beautiful peach. I love how Tom Ford keeps the good limited edition colors.
The cream shadow in the Golden Peach duo is Escapade so you’re in luck!
I thought that the cream shadow of the duo golden peach was pink haze?
Oh shoot–you’re right. Sorry!!
Cannot afford this. Not even in my dreams.
*sigh*
The one thing here that has me hoping for future reviews is those Moisturecore Lip Colors. It just sounds like it may have a longer than usual staying power for what seems to *possibly* be a sheerer, luminous finish lipstick? I’m very curious to see how they do!?
Me too! Maybe it’s my truly moisterizing AND long wearing lipstick? I need to win the lotery to be able to buy some of this stuff though, “sigh”
I want Golden Peach. Hopefully, I can get it before it sells out like last year.
So pretty so expensive
I really hope the cheek duo is the same as in the pink glow palette which i had to pass on since i couldnt justify 95 dls on the only 2 colors i liked
I got hooked on TF summer 2015 collection I have been anxiously awaiting word of the summer collection and am a bit disappointed at the many repromoted items in it. On the other hand, I missed out on the naked bronze duo last summer ( I have already preordered it.) The golden peach one I have is fabulous!!! The blush duo looks suspiciously similar to the blush/highlighter in the pink glow palette. I was really hoping there was another palette configured like the ones in the previous 2 summer collections.
I wasn’t expecting this to be available yet for preorder- but when I got TF’s email I jumped on it. Glad I did because by early evening the most coveted items were already gone. That blush duo and contouring compact will be total sell outs guaranteed. I’m happy for the Naked Bronze and Golden Peach shadows since my original ones got legs and walked off!
Hi Christine…. Do you know when this Tom Ford collection will appear in Europe !! I dont want to miss the cream colour for eyes ( the peach one) this year too ………… and when are you going to review the products ?
This looks to be a very interesting, if not expensive, collection. Love the blushes, lipsticks and eye shadows.
Some, most, of these colors are gorgeous but way out of my price range unless I win the lottery. That’s highly unlikely bc I never ever buy tickets.
She looks like she needs a good cold compress.
I hope the trio is all new colors and not an existing bronzer or a highlight, fingers crossed!
Everything. Looks. Gorgeous. But, as much as I love Tom Ford, I just can’t with these prices! $108.00 for The Afternooner? Come on. Plus, there’s not much really new here, is there? I may check out the Radiant Moisture Cream at my TF counter, though; that does seem interesting and it’s something I would definitely use.
This is my first summer following TF’s beauty line, so it’s mostly new to me. I grabbed Golden Peach from a Feb pre-sale at Nordstrom and Fire Lust from Bloomingdale’s, whose prices do not reflect TF price increases. While shocked by the prices, I’m interested in the duo and trio compacts.
Christine, do you know what shade the bronzer is relative to Terra?
I don’t have Bronze Age, sorry!
Hi Christine, I’m sorry for being unclear. I’m curious about the bronzer shade in the new contour palette, not the new bronzer Bronze Age.
I have no idea, as I don’t have that, sorry! 🙁
Thanks for letting me know, Christine!
im surprised he didn’t do an actual palette (like pink glow last year) esp at that price point!! sheesh!! im wearing golden peach today but glad there’s a repromote for naked bronze!! Tina i’ll be awaiting for your review on these lippies **taps foot** and maaaaybe that deeper bronze shade…hmmm curious about the skin illuminator tho.
Oh, I’m looking forward to that Golden Peach eye duo…I didn’t get any of the duos from last year (?).
Hi,
What is the name of the lipstick on this picture, will highly appreciate the info.
Are the cream eyeshadows the same size as last summer or smaller like the new spring release cream shadows?
Now I am regretting buying the spring 2016 cream eyeshadows, I bet the new repromotes for cream and powder eyeshadow duos are going to be the nicer, initial quality ones. The ones from spring aren’t as good. I am glad I saw this though. I want to buy Naked bronze duo for sure this time.
I’m curious as to how they differed for you? I thought the shades that were repromotes were the same except platinum was a little warmer. Thanks!
Hey Abir!
I bought the original duo in peach shimmer. Then I bought the spring release shades in Platinum and Spice. Spice is the same cream shadow that was in the original naked bronze. Colourwise it is the exact same (or the difference seems very minimal) Texture wise, the new ones from the spring collections do not feel as opaque and seem very thinned out. The only reason I can see this difference is because my friend bought Naked bronze back then and I bought Peach shimmer and we both agree that the texture is different. Have you tried them both and not see any difference at all?
The blush trio ( second pic) killed me softly bur surely….magnifiqueeee
