Some of these colors are very pretty, but it’s hard for me to get excited by new matte lipsticks at this point in time! I guess they must still be selling really well if companies keep coming out with whole new lines of them…

I was so excited for this, but these light peach pink neon shades are not flattering at all on me. Was hoping for more muted brown/dark red/berry shades… 🙁

Mmmm, I’m not really impressed with the colors. Maybe it’s because I’ve got a huge lipstick arsenal, but they all seem pretty dupable to me. I’m curious about the formula though. Their La Creme regular lipsticks are nice!

Why are the dark colors always so patchy!? I always hope they will go on smooth. I really wanted to get maneater, but it looks like a dozen other splotchy wine colors I have so I’ll be here just hoping someone will make a good one someday. The other colors look beautiful though, especially that red.

i was disappointed with these I got ‘sorry not sorry’ and ‘bachelorette’ and i didnt think the formula was that great. sorry not sorry made my lips look old like it went into every lip line and I had balm under it. I’m fair/light skin w/ neutral undertone and sorry not sorry just blended into my lips. given the shade didnt show up well and made my lips look worse I returned both shades. I would rather use Maybelline matte lipsticks.

Oh yikes, most of these swatches look terrible – dry, clumpy, flaky. And all of the lighter colors will look horrible on me, easy skip

This line is not wowing me at all. They don’t look smooth and creamy on the lips, except a few bright shades that have a bazillion dupes. At least the names are cuter than Tarte’s lip paint names. I wonder if the orange-y coral name “The new black” is supposed to be a riff on the show OITNB. Love that show.

Virtually all of the light pinks of all brands look very chalky to me. Are they supposed to.look like that or are my eyes not seeing it right? Anyone else feel this way?

Hmm I’ve done all of the typical matte lipstick colors, the nudes and pinks and corals, etc etc I’m more interested in the experimental shades, something different. Unicorn Tears was a nice departure for them. I’m interested to see what the collaboration with Kat Von D and them will come up with!
