Tom Ford Narcissist Cheek Color (Blush) Review, Photos, Swatches
Tom Ford Narcissist Cheek Color
Ooh! You’ll Need a Pair of Sunglasses for This One!
Tom Ford Narcissist Cheek Color ($55.00 for 0.28 oz.) is a brightened, medium-dark pink with cool undertones and a subtle fuchsia-pink sheen. NARS Desire is more blue-based and lighter (but if you use it lightly, they look more alike). MAC Florida is more magenta. Tarte Amused is a touch lighter. MAC Her Blooming Cheek is more fuchsia. Make Up For Ever #3 is similar. Make Up For Ever #75 is more magenta.
This shade is deliciously bright! It’s rich in color, incredibly saturated, and bright without being neon. It’s bold, dramatic, and buildable. It’s a very pigmented shade, so you will need to use a light-hand if you want softer, sheerer color. The texture is soft, finely-milled, and smooth, which aids blending; it easily softens and diffuses with a flick or two of your brush. If you only use it lightly, there are definitely similar shades on the market; if you want to use it so it looks more true-to-pan, then you’ll see the differences start jumping out at you. When worn softly, it almost looks like a plum-kissed raspberry pink. I wore this shade last week, and it lasted a full ten hours on me without any fading.

This one is a pass for me as I already have NARS Desire. I also think desire looks softer. This would really sing on darker complexions.
Wow! I’ve seen many Tom Ford blushes that I like, but if I GET one this might be the first. It’s a color that I don’t own yet in my stash, and it looks so good on you!
very pink and pretty 😀
It is a gorgeous color, but not for me. I prefer more subtle blush and I doubt I could apply this with the finesse it would need!
It looks gorgeous on you, Christine. But $55? It’s a bit steep for me. I may have to put it on my birthday wish list in order to get it lol
I give cedit to those that can wear that fully pigmented. Though I think that if you need to sheer it out that much to make it more wearable it’s a waste to own that much unused product for $55.
Holy pink blush, Batman!
That is amazingly bright! I just think I wouldn’t use it that much and then I would prefer a cheaper alternative. Tom Ford products do look pretty and luxurious, I would love to try one but then I would prefer something I would actually use a lot. With more expensive products I often feel guilty if I don’t use them that much.
This would be *stunning* on those with olive skin, or deeper!
I bought a blush very similar to this called Fearless (pure color) by Estee Lauder. I find it to be top quality, and from what I’ve read on the web, Tom Ford cosmetics are made by Estee Lauder. Who knows? But, it might be a more economical substitute for this one…
Looked for it in Nordstrom web…did not see this color…”fearless”
I picked Fearless up at the counter at Macy’s.
My god, is that ever bright! *happy flails*
What a stunning color! I’m yet to see such a gorgeous fuchsia blush!
Looks like other bright pink blushes I have when applied – but it is beautiful in the pan!
I love that you applied more blush on your right cheek so we know what it looks heavy and what it looks light (on your left cheek). You’re so helpful!! Thank you 😀
So happy Tom Ford sent you the product to review. This is my favorite product in my entire color makeup collection so far and I have so many good stuff….the color in the case looks even better in person….It is not because of the price….but alot of Tom Ford Cosmetics remind me of when YSL first came out 30 years ago…and some of it does remind me of what Estee Lauder would produce like the Enchanted eyeshadow.
It looks like a nice blush but I feel that shade is a bit too bold for me, since I’m incredibly pale. That and it’s too expensive for me.
My goodness!!! I’m in love with Tom Ford blush, such a bright and stunning fuchsia blush. Thank you for sharing the review. I wonder could you do a review and swatch for the Tom Ford “Aphrodisiac” lipstick? I believe it’s a bold plum color but I haven’t seen anybody swatch or review it yet! Thank you again:)
That would be beautiful on my NW45 skin, but 55 is way too much for my skin
As much as I love Tom Ford, $55 is for rich peeps. Not me. The color is gorge though.
It’s so bright! I love it! Would totally stash this as a MUA but personally I like a super bright super light pink blush more xD Kinda like Illamasqua’s Katie but brighter and more glowy.
Christine! You are just glowing! This Nars blush is so perfect for you, same with your foundation.
Sorry, I ment to say Tom Ford!
Woah, talk about an intimidating shade! I still like it though. Although I’d probably be veeeeeeeery careful when applying this 🙂
i love those crazily pigmented blushes and i’m fair!!They brighten every complexion!Plus they last you for ages!I use them with a stippling brush, barely touch the product and if necessary tap off the excess!
Such a stunning blush! There is goes straight to my wishlist. 😀
Do you know is Smashbox Radiance is a dupe for this? They look very similar in the photo, but the Tom Ford one appears to be much smoother.
I don’t know 🙁
I love this blush, I’m nw45 and it wears better than desire on me.
This reminds me of my La Femme blush in Magenta (I believe that’s the name!) I’m nc50 and these blushes are crazy beautiful on my skintone! Plus its a fraction of the price 🙂
I don’t think I could bring myself to pay $55 for a blush, even if it’s the best blush in the world. For that price, it would have help me lose weight without exercise.
This might be the most gorgeous shade of blush on you that I’ve ever seen (and I’ve been reading your stuff for some years now …), Christine- I’m jealous, too. I love it- but your comment about “light” application for fair skin would pertain to me. Us light/fair skinned women couldn’t put on our $55.00 worth!! Too bad, too, because this is simply beautiful on you, girl. Thank you. xoxo Beth in Pgh 😉
Is this comparable to MAC rhubarb, azalea, or full fuchsia?
