Cherry Blaze
PPermanent. $90.00.
Cherry Blaze (Left)
Cherry Blaze (Left) is a medium-dark peach with warmer, more orange undertones and a matte finish. It had medium, buildable pigmentation with a silky-smooth, finely-milled texture that was a smidgen powdery in the pan but applied well to bare skin and never looked dry. In fact, it was very forgiving of skin texture and worked well even over bare skin/more luminous bases as it did not turn patchy or “stick” too readily wherever it was initially applied. It stayed on well for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
-
The formula is supposed to be "silky-smooth" with "semi-matte and highlighting hues" for a "light-reflecting" glow. I'd describe the finish was matte, and it'd be a stretch to even say semi-matte, but the powders were silky, smooth, and blendable and sat well on bare skin without emphasizing texture or dryness. I was actually going through a real dry spell with my skin when I swatched and tested this range!
The brand didn't make any claims regarding coverage, and my experience with these showed they were fairly pigmented--usually semi-opaque and buildable--but could be used with a lighter hand or less-dense brush for sheerer, more buildable coverage if desired. The coverage was versatile and seemed like it would be plenty for those who prefer more pigmentation but nothing that required a very light hand to start off with.
The most impressive part about the formula was how well it applied over bare skin and still-damp foundation; more matte finishes tend to "stick" and go on more patchily and often have to be applied over a mattified base. I didn't have any of those issues with the shades I tested; they applied beautifully over bare skin and blended out with ease.
They lasted between eight and nine hours on me before fading a little.

Cherry Blaze (Right)
Cherry Blaze (Right) is a brighter, medium-dark pink-coral with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable color coverage paired with a smooth, silky, and finely-milled consistency that picked up well with a brush and blended out with little effort on my skin. The blush lasted nicely for nine hours before fading noticeably.

The shade on the righthand side is lovely; but NOT $90 smackaroos lovely! I will get PML’s Electric Bloom instead, i think, since the lefthand side would be of little use to me.
I’m surprised that both shades are matte because I thought each duo had a matte or satin shade and a luminous shade. I much prefer a matte or satin
Tom Ford has to be dreaming if he thinks that these are worth $90 USD – they’re nice, but so are a lot of other blushes at a quarter of the price (eg CP).
