I ordered Colourpop You’re a Catch and I’m still stewing over Nars Savage and its sorta dupe Cover FX Warm Honey. I do not own dupes for any of these products.
Thinking out loud: Nars Savage has a redder base which is good for my skintone. The Cover FX blushes are wonderful, but so pigmented. I’m actually not a fan of super pigmented blushes, but for 10 dollars difference between the NARS and Cover FX, you get two blushes in the CFX. Still stewing.
Thanks for Genevieve for saving me from Hourglass Ultra slim lipsticks. They will not fit in my little makeup bag and if I tuck one into my purse, I’ll never find it
Also talking myself down from lipstick purchases and using what I have on hand and changing their look by layering products. I’m not feeling lip liner level precision on my lips and I’m favouring more natural semi-gloss finish. Tatcha Camellia gold spun is a really good base for achieving a less formal look. I’m working with a couple of my earthier PMG luxtreme lippies that I haven’t been wearing b/c they are so saturated and kinda heavy. My taste has changed.
I think the Cover FX finish is so special, though…
