The Summer Season: Lancome Fleur de Lis Lipstick

Lancome Fleur de Lis L’Absolu Rouge Lipstick ($29.00 for 0.14 oz.) is a pretty shade of medium pink with soft lilac-pink shimmer and a glossy finish. It’s semi-sheer with decent color pay off, but your natural lip color will still peek through. It’s very moisturizing, creamy, and feels lovely on lips. I get about three hours of wear with this particular shade, but it fades evenly so it makes for easy reapplication.

Is this the right pink for you? Would you wear it?

The Summer Season is a series of posts featuring bright, vibrant shades of coral, orange, and pink lipsticks and lipglosses — all perfect for a summer of fun — that runs through July 2010.

I loveee this color on you! My lips are very pigmented though, so I can never get this type of medium pink to show up on me quite the same way. Can you think of a lipstick in this same type of light-medium-ish pink, but in a more opaque formula? I’ve been trying to hunt down what Emily Blunt in wearing on her lips in this picture: http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l5j6x6HQLa1qziegr.jpg

Haven’t quite found it yet, though this Lancome one looks quite close!

This is so pretty on you! You can do the sultry red lip and the gorgeous pink lip and always look so pretty!

I’d love this pink lipstick with a “feathery” light grey smokey eye! Thanks for the review!

That is really pretty. I love Lancome’s lipsticks but have a hard time with how scented they are — that colour is hard to resist, though. And it looks so great on you!

so beautiful on you Christine! even though I’ve never been into Lancome, this lipstick is so pretty. It’s exactly what I’m looking for. grey/taupe/blue eyeshadows and this pink lips. actually i’m gonna wear it for my fall looks.

Hey Christine…do you have any reviews on the lancome le lipstique Natural Mauve lip liner, and would you know a dupe for that, it’s quite pricey. You’re gorgeous btw I love all you tips and advice!!

Helo, Just wondering if this is Limited Edition??? As i’m trying to find this shade everywhere and i can’t find it πŸ™
