Tarte Glitzy LipSurgence Lip Tint Review, Photos, Swatches
Tarte Glitzy LipSurgence Lip Tint
Tarte Glitzy LipSurgence Lip Tint ($24.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a medium-dark pink-plum with warm undertones and gold sparkle and shimmer. Tom Ford Beauty Richard (LE, $32.00) is less shimmery. Tom Ford Beauty Negligee (LE, $50.00) is less shimmery. Guerlain Air Kiss (304) (P, $37.00) is darker. MAC Moody Bloom (LE, $17.00) is similar. Bobbi Brown Plum Shimmer (3) (P, $26.00) is warmer. NARS Falbala (P, $26.00) is cooler-toned. MAC Oh, Oh, Oh (LE, $16.00) is cooler-toned. Chanel Bel Ami (P, $34.00) is less shimmery. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
The LipSurgence Lip Tint formula is supposed to be hydrating, have sheer color, and is mint-scented. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage with a fair amount of shimmer. The consistency is lightly glossy and glides on easily without tugging on the lips, and it feels moist and comfortable to wear, though it does slide around a bit (it doesn’t feather or bleed, but I do find a few stray sparkles outside the lip line after a few hours!). The color wore well for four hours on me, and it was nicely hydrating over time. I could feel some of the texture of the sparkle after three hours of wear.
This seems like it is the same product as Glitzy in the LipSurgence Lip Lustre range (which is listed at $16, marked down from $24, and the Lip Lustre range appears to be discontinued), but the packaging of the one I have for spring is in LipSurgence Lip Tint packaging.

I didn’t think I’d like it much but I do! A lot, actually!
It’s very pretty!
This will go nice with the blush for spring
Definitely 🙂
Love Love love the color on you! Reminds me of Revlon’s Peach Parfait lip butter but less peachy may be? I wish the shimmer was little muted though!
Oooh, but the sparkle is what I love about this one, lol! 😉
That’s the first shade I thought of too!
Hm, I was so sad when the lustre lipsurgence line was discontinued! Glad they brought this one back. I got it back in 2013, still love it 🙂 Not overly shimmery or chunky at all, the formula is so awesome.
It is really pretty! 🙂
This is really pretty. I love the gold in that shade. I have never used any of the Lip surgence tints, this one will have to be the first one!
I’ve only used a few, but I liked this one for its sparkliness!
Glaze formula for sure when it’s the type of formula I prefer for shimmer. 😉
Yay!!
This is one of my favorite shades that I own. I’m over half way done with it, which rarely happens!
That is impressive 😀
This looks so pretty! I just love the shimmer
The shimmer + glossiness works!
I didn’t think I’d like this one but it’s stunning!
Yay!
This would be super pretty for layering.
Too bad the peppermint in these makes my lips peel ugh 🙁
Aww 🙁
Such a pretty color on you! I haven’t ventured into Tarte lip products yet.
I’ve only tried a few – this one made me want to take a better look at the range, though!
This really sparkles. Pretty!
I really liked how sparkly it was!
Lovely, yet not screaming unique for me and I’m not quite into giant pencil things. 🙂
At least it’s twist-up!
The color is just lovely!!! time to look for relatives who are going home (Philippines) for the holidays 🙂
Fingers crossed!
Really pretty!
Agreed!
great casual day lip!
Very true! It is super easy to wear. Definitely made me want to take a closer look at Tarte’s Lip Tints!
Uh oh…
It’s peachy with gold glitter….my favourite lip combo of all time (after purple, of course)…
Like Revlon Peach Parfait…
And it sparkles in the tube…and on the lips…
*starts to hyperventilate*
…
I actually really, really love this shade. And thanks for sharing it was still available on tartes own website for half the price. I don’t care about LE packaging, I’d really rather take the savings.
Hi Christine!
What is the name of this shade and when will it be available? I can’t seem to find it on the sephora website?
Thanks!
Glitzy is the name. It was supposed to be available on 12/15 at Tarte.
go directly to Tarte website, they are on sale right now too with free shipping.
I didn’t knew I was actually gonna like any thing so shimmery for lips but this is so so prettyy and the formula also seems to do a great job!!
Thanks for sharing.. it looks so lovely on your lips.. <3
Very pretty! Kinda meh on the lipsurgence line in general, but this looks like one of the nicer ones!
