Tarte Fearless Amazonian Clay Blush ($26.00 for 0.20 oz.) is described as a “coral pink.” It’s a medium, subtly warm-toned pink with a satin-matte finish. On my warmer skin tone, it almost looks cool-toned, but in the pan, it’s definitely warmer in tone. Milani Bella Rosa (11) (P, $7.99) is much darker but when worn lightly, it is similar. MAC Formal (LE) is lighter. Guerlain Madame Rougit (LE, $67.00) is similar. Edward Bess Bed of Roses (P, $43.00) is cooler-toned. NYX Peach (P, $5.00) is warmer-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

It had fairly good color payoff, but it wasn’t as intense as it appeared in the pan, and it was buildable to full coverage. The texture was a little drier and stiffer than other Tarte blushes that I’ve tried; it seemed like the top layer needed to be removed first, and then the texture was somewhat improved. It was fairly blendable, and it lasted for almost ten hours once applied (short of the twelve hours claimed, though).

I know others have a lot of success with this blush, but I have a lot of problems with the formula and get little to no staying power out of the product. It’s like it disappears off my skin. I also find the formula powdery and difficult to build. I have two of these and they hang out in a corner of my stash and get no love 🙁

I’ve experienced the same thing, I have tipsy and I tried amused on, but they were both powdery and it was hard to build up color. Also it was very stiff in the pan.

Amused is one of my sad picks as well. The other is Exposed which I think may be one of the ‘classic’ shades. Stiff texture pretty much sums it up 😉

Christine!!! There you go again, making me buy stuff I don’t need! 😛 Actually, I have been eyeing some Tarte blushes for awhile now, this one included and I finally decided this weekend (or next depending on how much unpacking I get done) I was going to take a trip to Sephora and pick up two blushes – one Clinique cheek pop and one Tarte blush! Now I’m pretty sure it will be this shade! 😛 Also, I’m not sure if this is the place to ask this, but I was wondering if you ever did blog sales? I have been eyeing the Estee Lauder blush in Tease, it was limited edition and I’m just dying to get my hands on it! I know you reveiwed it a long while ago, and I’m not even sure you’d be willing to give it up (well, I would buy it of course!), but I thought I’d ask. 🙂 Same goes with any of the NARS blushes from the Final Cut collection! xoxo

This was my first Tarte blush though I still haven’t really used it yet (got distracted by The Balm’s blushes haha). The top stiff layer is really annoying. I swirled and swirled my brush but couldn’t get much color out of it. Guess I just have to keep at it and wear it down to the powder. The tester of this color in store was lovely!

Good grief this is stunning!

As a side note, this has been happening for a few weeks now, but is anyone else having a problem with this site suddenly auto-scrolling as it loads pictures? It moves my cursor up or down the page as it pleases and shifts the entire window at the same time. It’s really… well disorienting actually. My best guess is that it’s something in the right hand side bar that’s causing it. Even as I was typing this comment, the entire site shifted downwards even as I was typing in content. It’s really weird. It’s like suddenly losing your place on the site because someone decided to use the mouse scroll wheel while you weren’t looking.

Good lord, I wish I could send you a video of my computer screen as this happens. Using Chrome (Version 34.0.1847.116 m which is up to date), Windows XP SP3 1.83GHz, 2 gigs ram. This is a work computer, so not a beast by any means, but this problem also replicates on my macbook pro at home and on my Windows 7 desktop (also at home). The only consistent thing across all those platforms is Chrome as the browser. I just tried the site on Firefox and the issue doesn’t seem to replicate. Very, very odd.

Although oddly, now I’m getting connection issues with the following page: http://www.temptalia.com/page/2 (on both browsers) annnnnnd again as I tried to submit this comment.
