Editor's Review

The Amazonian Clay Blush formula is supposed to have 12-hour wear along with a “supremely soft” texture. There’s a lot to like about Tarte’s formula, as it is softer (sometimes dusty), blendable, and fairly smooth with good pigmentation, but for me, I rarely get 12-hour wear–I do get between 8 and 10-hour wear, though.

Claims / Ingredients

This super soft, silky powder contains true-color mineral pigments that let you layer on your glow with no harsh lines or chalky build-up. tarte’s signature Amazonian clay helps control oil and infuse moisture for balanced skin and seamless blending. The magnetized pan lets you pop your favorite shade from its compact to create a custom palette.

This is one of the very few blushes that actually look very natural on me! It applies like a subtle pink on my light skin tone with neutral undertone and yellow overtone. I love it and I won’t ever stop using it.

This looks unwearable in the pan, but is actually a very cute pink on the face. I'm a little too pale for this to be optimally flattering on me but I make it work nonetheless. Blendable and easy to work with, you get enough pigmentation with 2 dips. My only gripe is it doesn't last very well.

I'm not really a blush person, but I like this. The color is beautiful and it adds a nice flush to my face. It can sit on the skin in a less natural way, but once blended, it's okay.

Great blush - the formula is buttery and long-lasting, and the shade is a gorgeous neutral colour!

This is a buildable peachy nude blush that is perfect for people with fair skin. Not too orange or pink and looks extremely natural on my skin. The color lasted through a busy workday and date night on my oily skin without fading.

I really dislike this highlighter it is chalky, dusty and just sits on the skin in big chunks. I also tried it as an eye shadow, wet and dry, and it just didn't have enough pigment to work. I even tried it as a lip topper, but I looked like Tyrone Biggums- so this shade is a hard pass.

This is my every day neutral blush. For me it is easier to apply than exposed.

I seriously do not get the big deal about this blush. I had such high hopes. But it doest even show up on me at all. I expected a lot more from this, cause it's not exactly cheap.

"Natural Beauty" was my first Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush purchase (I've since acquired a 2nd one - more peachy toned - in a palette) and I absolutely love it. I was unsure whether to get Dollface, Amused or some of the better known shades but I am so glad I got this one. It's a deep, slightly berry-toned pink and is the perfect shade for me (not that this will deter me from buying Amused or Dollface at some point) and I probably wear this blush 90% of the time. It looks right no matter what makeup I'm wearing because it is basically my natural "blush" but intensified. This buffs out and blend beautifully and is very long-wearing. Tarte has a real winner in the formulation of these blushes.
