If the color is off by a lot, it’s an obvious no. If it’s a little light/dark, I might try to make it work anyway. I don’t like foundations that emphasize dryness or look patchy applied!
The most obvious is color match, and the second is anything that emphasizes dryness/creases easily.
Anything really, really drying is something I wouldn’t wear by choice unless I needed 110% forever wear and nothing else would do, but I almost never opt for something drying. I’m more inclined to wear lip liner and a darker shade than wear something really drying. If there is a perfume-y...
Flaking and being really hard to remove! The flaking drives me nuts all day long, and then anything that’s really hard to remove ends up in my contacts (I wear mine at night only).
PLEASE GIVE ME ALL YOUR ADVICE! I’m terrible at removing stains in general, except pet ones (go figure!). I am marginally better currently using Zout and washing immediately… but I’d love to hear your tried and true recipes 🙂
I’m using a shampoo/conditioner set from Acure presently, and then I use Batiste or Nirvana Black dry shampoo throughout the week. If I use any heat on my hair, I’ll use It’s a 10 and Moroccanoil as well.
I have done it in the past, when I was first getting into makeup, but I don’t think I’d buy something for the name if I wasn’t going to use it–I’m lucky that I can just tell myself I’ll review it instead 😉
I still tend to do a full routine; I might go easier on the eyes or throw on a gloss instead of lipstick. If my eyes are watery/burning, I’ll just do a very light coat of mascara and no liner or eyeshadow.
My regular lip balm is Jack Black, but if I feel like I need a really intense balm, I’ll use Hourglass’ oil or Bite’s Agave Lip Mask. SUQQU’s Lip Balm is crazy, crazy good, but I have no idea how I’m going to replace it, but it is well worth a mention!
