How often do you declutter your makeup stash?

How often do you declutter your makeup stash?

If I’m very good, every six months or so. I also go through as I put newly acquired things away and try to get rid of things before they make it to long-term storage!

What are your deal-breakers for mascara?

What are your deal-breakers for mascara?

They would have to be anything that clumps really, really easily within a couple of weeks of opening; anything that flakes or takes forever to dry; and anything that makes my lashes feel really brittle/hard!

What are your deal-breakers for foundation?

What are your deal-breakers for foundation?

Sheer coverage is not my cup of tea (if I go sheer, I’ll wear a tinted moisturizer or mix regular foundation with moisturizer), so that’s usually a no. I don’t like heavily scented foundations, especially if I can still smell them after they’ve dried down! I’m also not a fan of anything...

What are your deal-breakers for lipstick?

What are your deal-breakers for lipstick?

What type of beauty gifts are good to give to others?

If you don’t know the person that well, I’d stick to low to mid-end in price point and things that are more universal, like hand cream, lip balm, candles, etc. (But try to figure out if someone is sensitive to fragrance or not!) If they like makeup, I love lipstick sets (most consistent in...
