Anastasia, Bite Beauty, ColourPop, Make Up For Ever, and Tom Ford all came to mind. They’ve all had a few misses, but I feel like, usually, they’re quite good (or in line with what I’d expect from the brand, even if not technically perfect based on claims).
When reviewing, I don’t hold certain brands over others, but personally, I expect high quality if a brand is going to charge a premium for their products–there is no justification for something like poor texture, short wear, etc.
Bite Beauty seems like a really strong brand with very few misses. I think that MAC has been getting better in terms of quality over the last year or two, compared to the previous years, but not quite as good as what I recall a decade ago.
Too Faced feels like they’re just into selling, selling, selling “cute” packaging and themes but don’t pay much attention to the quality (or, at the very least, consistency in quality) of the actual product.
