I find that more engagement, in general, is typically worse for me, but the right kind of engagement can make all the difference.
Admittedly, I haven’t done much makeup “for fun” or other than in a very utilitarian, test-it-for-wear kind of way, so I don’t have one!
Haus Labs’ foundation, which I really enjoy the finish and application of as it’s lightweight, skin-like, and goes on evenly.
Moira Liquid Blush in Biggest Fan, which was a nice, dewy blush that had good wear and applied well.
I don’t know if I was adamant about not buying it, but I remember being reluctant to purchase the Sisley primer everyone raved about a few years ago (it wasn’t worth it).
NARS Climax mascara, which is getting a bit thick as it is an older tube, so it hasn’t been as easy to use, but I like the depth of black and how much it thickens.
The last one was Urban Decay Perversion, which is a long-time favorite for something inky black as it’s quite pigmented and wears well on me!
I’ve found that one backup is usually good, but if I get more than one, it takes too long to get to it or I’m into something else by that time!
ColourPop The Feels, which was solid, typical ColourPop quality – pigmented, blendable, easy to use.
