Do you own any products you don't actually use?

Hundreds. Maybe thousands. There are a lot of products I’ve purchased for review but haven’t had time to even photograph/swatch — it is something I’ve actively been working at being more realistic about what I can/can’t review in a reasonable length of time.

How long do you use a skincare product before you commit to or ditch it?

How long do you use a skincare product before you commit to or ditch it?

If it’s something that rinses off, like a cleanser, then it might just be a handful of uses before I make a decision on whether I like it/it works well enough. For products like serums, moisturizers, etc., I’ll try it for a few weeks. If it’s a scent/texture issue, I might not last that...

What was the last product that saved your skin?

What was the last product that saved your skin?

Adding in a dedicated niacinamide serum into my routine (been using Good Molecules) has helped even out my skin (a lot of post-acne marks from recent battle with stress-related cystic acne)!

What scents in beauty products give you a sense of nostalgia?

The only one that does is Dior Addict, so it’s the actual scent, because it was the first fragrance I ever purchased.

What eyeshadow palette would you buy a back up of?

What eyeshadow palette would you buy a back up of?

Pat McGrath Decadence… probably. I don’t really think I’d need one since it takes forever to get through an eyeshadow, but it’s the one palette that I love and love and love that wasn’t around for long!

Do you enjoy the increase in brands and products in the beauty space?

Do you enjoy the increase in brands and products in the beauty space?

Overall, yes, I think so. Is it overwhelming sometimes? Yes. Does it feel like some products are released with little care/thought driving them? Yes. I do, however, feel like more brands are more accessible than ever before, which gives us a great range of types of products, shades, price points,...

Do you feel compelled to keep up with or purchase new releases?

Do you feel compelled to keep up with or purchase new releases?

HAHA, of course!! This question is less for me and more for readers to answer. Newer releases, whether limited edition or permanent, tend to take precedence over older/existing products, but there are some permanent ranges that are important to have covered. It is, though, easier for me to cover a...
