Sydney Grace Time Stops Blush Review & Swatches
Time Stops
Sydney Grace Time Stops Pressed Blush ($9.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a soft, medium pink with moderate warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque color coverage in a single layer to the point where I’d advise using a lighter hand to pick up product initially and building up as necessary (to avoid over-applying–it is always easier to add more than to take it away!).
The texture was soft, lightly powdery in the pan but blendable and easy to work with on bare skin or over foundation. I noticed the color darkened about half a shade to a full shade when layered over bare skin, so you’ll want to apply over more matte or just-set-with-powder skin to get truer-to-pan color. It lasted well for nine hours before fading visibly on me.

It's a more pigmented blush, so it favors those who need or want richer coverage achieved with less product or in one layer, but those who prefer sheerer, more buildable blush may find there is a learning curve. The formula was very blendable and easy to work with, so I think it is more forgiving, particularly shades with some shimmer in them. The matte shades can be slightly powdery but do not look dry or dusty when applied, though they can darken a bit if not applied over drier or more matte skin (or a base). They wore between eight and 10 hours on me before fading noticeably.

I love a good soft pink. It would go well with one if the new Lip Creams they just released 😉 I’m thinking of Shaley specifically.
Perfectly pink! Not too cool-toned or icy, nor verging on coral. Just right for me!
Another nice blush from Sydney Grace. BTW, I went to your look info to see what lipstick you’re wearing, and I think you might have accidentally posted the wrong look.

Thanks so much Christine 🙂 that eye and lip look is beautiful on you! I didn’t even realize Tatcha made a lipstick, I must have missed that somehow.
Probably because they’re SOOO expensive, and I think they are only available direct!
This is a lovely true pink shade and it seems to react with your own skin chemistry by becoming a bit darker over time – some would welcome this and others not.
I wore this yesterday. I wear this all the time and pop Paris Skies over the higher part of it and the combo is fabulous.
Paris Skies ?
Really lovely. I really need to try out Sydney Grace blushes.
What a gorgeous pink! This is going on my next order list.
