Sydney Grace Summer 2020 Swatches: Summer Days Palette / Warm Mystery Bag (Deep)
Next up, swatches of the upcoming, Deep versions of Sydney Grace Summer Days Eyeshadow Palette ($33.00 for 0.54 oz.) and Sydney Grace Warm Mystery Bag ($25.00 for 0.88 oz.).
They release as part of the brand’s upcoming Christmas in July sale. The palette will be free with $55+ purchase on July 16th (or available for purchase for $33). The palette is available in a Light and Deep offering with the following shades being different: Bask, Sandcastle, and Daystar.
You can get one mystery bag free with a $55+ purchase on July 13th, and they can also be purchased individually for $25 ($50 value per bag); the mystery bags will be available in Cool, Warm, and Colorful with a light- and deep-version for each variation. In the Warm mystery bag, Georgia Peach blush, Honey Babe loose highlighter, and Just Peachy eyeshadow are specific to the Deep version of the bag.
P.S. — I don’t have the Cool/Colorful bags at this time but should have them in a week or so (after they go live, FYI).
I can’t decide if I want the deep or light warm mystery bag. I like the deep blush but the light highlighter. Do you think the light blush applies deeper than it appears in the pan?
You can click any shade to see all of the photos, including the blush applied!
I get what they’re trying to do, again, with the deep and light version. However, the deep version now has almost half the palette as overlapping shades which will completely blend into anyone of my complexion. A total waste, IMO. You can see it from the pan, and even from the swatches. The light version has more variability, even for dark complexion.
Not “a total waste”. Just very disappointing.
That Deep version is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully curated! It’s also quite likely that I have dupes for just about every shade in it, but scattered amongst my different palettes. So it may still be something for me to consider. Not sure yet.
The blush and the green shadow are also very appealing to me!
I like the Deep iteration but hate the pressed glitter. I don’t really need it and have many other SG shadows I would prefer to pick up rather than this. Looking forward to the sale.
Hmmm – I like the gold shades from both palettes! This one looks pretty good too. It’s going to be a dilemma as to which one to get for those interested.
This is my dream palette
