Sydney Grace My Fair Lady Pressed Pigment Shadow ($6.00 for 0.06 oz.) is a deeper, brownish-plum with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It made me think of plum, taupe, and brown all at once.
- Opaque pigmentation
- Smooth, moderately dense, almost cream-like
- Picked up evenly with dry brush, blended out well
- Long-wearing (8-9 hours)

The shimmer eyeshadows are more consistent in pigmentation with the majority of shades having opaque color coverage. The more metallic/sparkly the shade is, the creamier and more emollient the eyeshadow felt in the pan, which often yielded really smooth application and good adherence to the lid, though a few worked better with a fingertip or a dampened brush for true-to-pan color or to get a truer finish/sheen.
Most shades, however, worked well with brushes, and I didn't have trouble applying or blending out most of the shimmer shades. The more satin to pearl like finishes tend to feel a little thinner but blend out well. These shades wore between eight and nine hours on me with some of the more foiled-like shades creasing noticeably at the end (and the less foiled-like ones fading).

Wow, these are beautiful! I love Butte Valley (which I definitely read as Butt Valley at first 🤦♀️) — it seems like a really unique shade!
OMG – how beautiful are these latest offerings from SG? It’s so good that they are starting to produce more of their fabulous singles. I think My Fair Lady is quite an unusual shade – very complex, and it would suit a wide range of skintones too. Butte Valley is a gorgeous blue.
Totally agree Genevieve, My Fair Lady is a gorgeous shade! I could see this working beautifully on all skin tones. I would use this in the outer corner and to apply over eyeliner – it’s kind of a shifty shade with the different colors in it. Very pretty indeed!
So funny – my Butte Valley and My Fair Lady just arrived in the mail today! I didn’t know they’d be reviewed but so glad they scored well!
My Fair Lady is stunning 😍
Ditto!
My Fair Lady is going to stay on my WL even though I have the CT Bejeweled palette dupe, because that’s only an 80% similar shade. And MFL has so much more complexity to it and is stunning!
Actually, I love all 3!
