We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Oh boy. This set contains such wonderful colors! I’m having my eyes on Bravo, and I’ve always wanted a color like Cali/Perfect Storm, but I know that’s my fantasy me talking – real me is an engineer working a traditional job who would never get to wear these pastels, oh well.

Believe me, I get it. My day job does no m/u, and you are in a traditionally ‘male’ profession. Strictures. If you are competent at your job…and I’m sure you are….it should not matter WHAT or if any eyeshadow you wear. As long as there is no true reason, like clean room, or whatever. If you can dress (up) for work, pick a day. Your birthday. Your unbirthday. Dress up and wear colorful e/s. Both. If the no pastel e/s is a matter of how you will be seen, SHOW THEM….that a competent professional is not defined by their m/u, but by their work product, their intellect, and competency in the field. Illigitimati non carborundum, as we used to say in HS.

Sounds like there is personal you and professional you: both are real you’s. The want for color might be your creative side speaking up. And it’s always good to nurture that side of yourself for an engineer: more creative solutions.

I totally get loving color and also working in a conservative environment so I personally don’t wear these to work.

BUT basically I feel free to wear color everywhere else: home, going out, running errands, etc.

These swatches are so helpful for people like me who would like to try the brand, but have no idea where to start. Having a large group of swatches in one post makes it so much easier to compare shades at a quick glance.

Thank you!

These are gorgeous– I’m floored by the power of some. Timber, Promenade, Abyss, JB, Below Zero, Swimming Swans, and Oasis, in particular, stand out to me. I’ll need to compare these to my collection and then figure what I can dupe, but given the nuance, I’m not sure I’ll find many. Blues and greens are the only shadows I’m allowing myself to buy this year…

I got the NoJoke bundle late last year, plus a couple of extra greens. Really love them. Your valid swatches will be so helpful in applying executive functions (planning and organizing) to curb my SG lust and buy responsibly.

I also got the No Joke bundle and some additional greens last year. I don’t wear the blues much– some I probably have not touched. But I wear the greens constantly. The quality is excellent. I also love and wear pastels. And the pale blue and green pastels that SGC makes I’ve never seen elsewhere. They also make a killer pale yellow. Crazy as it sounds, I find these shadows a great complement to the PMG palettes which have some special colors, but also a lot of dark and murky browns which may suit some but make me look like I haven’t slept in six years. I find I can use some of the more intense or dark PMG shades blended into these vibrant colors or pastels and it somehow works for me. When I looked at $88 for a Tom Ford palette with four shades, one or two of which were dupable, below par, or not the best on me, that was $22 per shadow, it just doesn’t make sense, when SGC keeps turning out such great shadows. I think all of the shadows I got (because I also got their winter bundle) probably was about the price of one TF palette.

Way too many of these are calling out to me! Several nice duochromes, Promenade in particular, stuck out. Lots of nice blue duochromes, too. Blue is my favorite color but not so much with eyeshadow. I love them and own them but they aren’t as flattering as greens, purples and oranges and reds are on me. I may need to splurge on a few of these one day soon.
