Favorite product this month? Natasha Denona Duo Glow in Alba
Most used face/cheek product this month? Marc Jacobs #Instamarc Light Filtering Contour Powder Duo in 40 Mirage & Natasha Denona Duo Glow in 01 Alba
Most used eye product this month? Natasha Denona Duo Glow in 01 Alba. It also looks soooooo pretty on eyelids.

Your skin tone/coloring: MAC NC23. light with prominent warm undertones. Dark hazel eyes. Dark warm brown hair.

Favorite product this month?: BITE Liquid lipsticks! I have three of them, and i have kept Chutney (a mauvey nude) in my bag and been throwing it on constantly, all month!

Most used face/cheek product this month?:Sephora wonderful cushion foundation! It’s a nice light weight foundation! I says on the packaging that it’s a light to light medium coverage, with a glowy natural finish. And I love it! It’s easy to throw into my bag, and it lasts pretty darn well on my oily skin!

Most used eye product this month?: Colourpop Thirsty Girl SSS. My friend bought it in a holiday set, and never used it so she gave it to me. And it’s STUNNING with my dark hazel/light brown eyes!!

Curious Shannon, do you set the Sephora Cushion? If not, how glowy does it get? I am pretty dry and have been trying to move away from powdering as much. I do like a dewy look so can tolerate a little glow. I feel like I am constantly looking for new foundations and I have my holy grail coming to me from New Zealand but it has been discontinued so I am looking for backups and I love cushion foundations.

Hey Deborah!!

I DO set the sephora cushion, I use RCMA no colour powder to set (in case you haven’t tried it, the no colour powder is very light. And is praised by a lot of dry skinned gals!!! I like it because I can re powder through out the day and it doesn’t cake!)

I think you totally can get away without setting it all over!! I would lightly set or prime around any prominent lines as this tends to settle into my smile lines and make me look a lot older than my early twenties self!!

But I really don’t think you have to set it all over!!! 😀

Oh! Also, the glow isn’t super super intense!!! I wore it today, and blotted 3 times in 9 hours, and the glow wasn’t too overwhelming as my oils broke through, so I think for dry skin, it would be pretty darn swell!!

Oooh, sounds lovely. I am going to order it and give it a try. I do have the RCMA No Color powder if I need to set it but as long as it isn’t too sticky I will try not to set it. Thank you. I thought I remembered that you were a little more oily but wasn’t sure. By the way, saw your lipstick post and once again, they all looked super pretty. You have the perfect lips for lipstick, just the right amount of fullness. I have this little tiny upper lip and hardly can see lipstick on me. If I wasn’t such a chicken I would try fillers just once but don’t think I could make myself do it. I don’t mind the needles, I am a nurse and give lots of injections plus I am a diabetic and give myself shots but I understand the actual filler is painful and since it is being pushed into an area with not a lot of extra space it feels like your lip is going to explode. Not for me but I still lust after fuller lips. Thanks for the information.

Skin tone/coloring: Light neutral, NC20

Favorite product this month: KVD Shade & Light Eyeshadow Palette. I’ve only had this palette for a couple weeks and I can’t get over how nicely these beautiful matte shades go on and how easily they blend.

Most used face/cheek product: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place foundation, Clinique Blushing Blush, and RCMA No Color Powder

Most used eye product this month: Clinique Brow Shaper is the only eye product I’ve used every day (for the past 10+ years). I use it even if I don’t use any other eye makeup because my natural brows are so sparse it looks weird without it.

Oy That KVD palette has been sitting in my cart on and off for the past 6 months. I keep talking myself out of it because I convince myself the shades are so very basic. I know I could definitely wear 2 or the 3 trios well.. the warmest trio would not be my thing. Anyhow, thanks for the info. I’m rethinking my pass. Do you have the shimmer palette as well?

Wwendy, I had the KVD palette in my cart for months before I finally got it. I kept thinking the same thing, that they were too basic and I already have lots of similar shades in my various palettes and singles.

BUT, I’m so glad I got it. I will definitely get more use from it than any others that I own. I’m not crazy about the cool trio (yet), but I get a lot of wear out of the warm and neutral trios and I mix them up sometimes.

I don’t have the KVD S&L Glimmer palette because shimmers tend to emphasize the flatness of my hooded eyes instead of giving them depth. I only like to use them on the center of my lid, so the S&L Glimmer palette would be a waste for me.

Wow, it doesn’t seem like September should be almost over, but here we are!

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Favorite product this month? Kat von D Saint + Sinner Palette

Most used face/cheek product this month? Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer; powder foundation (I’m currently using a Frankenstein mix of leftovers and samples of bareMinerals Original Foundation and Bare Radiance, Everyday Minerals bases, and Lucy Minerals foundations, and it looks fantastic. Too bad I can never replicate it!).

Most used eye product this month? The Wet n Wild Midnight Mermaid Color Icon Metallic Liquid Eyeshadows; UD Primer Potion in Engima; Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Mascara.

It was driving me nuts having all those bits and bobs of samples thrown in a drawer. I figured the pure white Lucy one would balance out any that were a tad too dark. Then I tossed them in the bareMInerals container with the last bit of that foundation. Even little declutters count. lol

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair- color- green eyes- neutral brunette hair.
Favorite product this month? Natasha Denona Lila Palette, I have only had it about half the month, but I used it for most of that half. I am in love! Second is my Sunset palette, in anticipation of course! xD
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tarte Achiote oddly enough. Since it has been really warm this autumn thus far my makeup has been confused about summer or fall, this seems to be working for both.
Most used eye product this month? Probably a random sample of Lancome Monsieur Big… it looks great on aaaannnnd of course it isn’t CF, oh well.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light Medium
Favorite product this month? Wet n’ Wild Photofocus Foundation
Most used face/cheek product this month? Nars Steven Klein Holiday Blush palette
Most used eye product this month? – Jaclyn Hill X Morphe palette & Colourpop Yes Please palette

My Jaclyn Hill x Morphe palette is on it’s way! I’m so excited to play with it. I almost listed the Colourpop Yes Please palette as my favorite September purchase, but the Urban Decay Naked Foundation was a bit more of a win for me, if you can even compare eye shadow to foundation (???). It’s hard to decide so usually I let the item that I would really be put out if I couldn’t use it daily be the one that I choose as my favorite.

~nw20. No standout fave. Cheek: the first half of the month was MAC wrapped candy, and the last was the Lolita blush/eyeshadow, which was just reissued, in case anyone wants it. Eye: UD Alkaline liner. And plum mascaras, ysl, Mac beets me, old benefit bad gal plum. Yeah, I’m old and matchy-matchy.

Medium Warm (at least MAC NC37, if not darker)

Favorite product this month: I think I forgot to mention in my haul, but this month I picked up Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup (foundation) in 5.0 and surprisingly, I really like it. I knew nothing about it, didn’t have a sample, I just bought it on a whim. I had a sample of the Urban Decay Optical Illusion Primer, so I used them together for a week. This week I used the foundation by itself, and it isn’t nearly as nice without primer. This is a surprise to me, as I have previously noticed no results with primer, but recently primers have really made a difference. Today I am wearing it with the Smashbox Primer, and this foundation is back to it’s normal beautiful self. For reference, I have very good skin that needs minimal coverage. This has very light coverage, so if you are looking for medium to full coverage or have oily skin, look elsewhere.

Most used face/cheek product: Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation, and Anastasia’s Sun Dipped and Sweets palettes. OMG, wearing Taffy today, there are no words for how pretty this color is, I don’t even wear any blush with it.

Most-used eye product: NARS Hardwired Shadow in Outer Limits. I’ve also dipped into some classics this month, including Urban Decay Electric palette and MAC Star Trek collection shadows. It’s been blue mascara all month too!

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertones.

Favorite product this month? Fenty Beauty Yacht Life Matchstick, NARS Never Say Never pencil

Most used face/cheek product this month? Fenty Yacht Life, sometimes with Ciate Dewy Stick in Glow (it’s clear, basically a skin gloss) on the tops of the cheekbones, or sometimes with Milk blush in Rally in the lower apple area for more pop. It’s a really versatile product; I can wear it alone as a highlighter or as a blush, I can enhance it by layering different skin products, and it’s a neutral enough pink-coral that I can pair it with warmer or cooler colors.

Most used eye product this month? MAC Naked Pigment. Best beige eyeshadow ever. I also look forward to using Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color every morning.

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite product this month? Natio’s Dose of Colours Golden.

Most used face/cheek product this month? Cover Fx Custom Enhancer Drops in Moonlight. Got this as a 100 point perk recently and am really impressed with it.
Most used eye product this month? Benefit They’re Real Tinted Lash Primer. I like it under various mascaras, but my favorite use for it is just on its own for no makeup makeup days–it helps make my blonde lashes more visible but not stand out too much for the rest of the look.

Skin tone: Fair with neutral undertones

Favorite product this month: Benefit Rockateur blush. I’ve had it forever and I tend to neglect it, but once I use it I remember how great it is.

Most used face/cheek product this month? UD Rapture. It is a great match with the lipstick previously mentioned!

Most used eye product this month?
I really tried to use most of my palettes so it would have to be the L’Oréal paradise extatic mascara. I didn’t like a mascara as much in years! It builds lovely, holds the curl fairly good (no mascara even waterproof ever work for me in the last 10 years) I will be repurchasing for sure. I will stock up the next time I see a good deal on it!
