Favorite eyeshadow finish? I don’t really have a favorite but if I had to pick it would probably be matte and satin.
Favorite blush finish? I prefer a satin finish for blush, but with the new hourglass ambient lighting palette I’ll be bring out many matte blushes.
Favorite foundation finish? Natural by far! Not too dewy, not to matte.

Skintone/Coloring: Fairly light, very neutral; dark-featured.

Eyeshadow: There’s a place for all in my routine, so I don’t have a particular “favorite”.

Blush: Glowy, minimal shimmer.

Foundation: Luminous, dewey, glowy; matte finishes just emphasize pores.

Favorite eyeshadow finish? Umm…Satin or Metallic. I’m wearing metallics while I can since they emphasize wrinkles in older age.
Favorite blush finish? I love love love the MAC # 168 brush!
Favorite foundation finish? I used to really love mattes, but my skin is becoming more dry as I hit my mid-twenties. I now prefer more dewy finishes, which seem to give slight dimension to my face.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair and cool toned (MAC NW 15-20)
Favorite eyeshadow finish? MAC Veluxe Pearl or Inglot Pearl finish
Favorite blush finish? Sheertone Shimmer (MAC) or the finish of Tarte’s Amazonian Clay Blushes – they have the most beautiful sheen. I also have a MAC Mineralized blush in a shade that isn’t great for me but it also takes on the most flattering glowing sheen when buffed in; I need to see if other mineralized blushes from MAC do this
Favorite foundation finish? Not totally matte but not a ton of shine either. I like Guerlain Lingerie de Peau and Clarins Skin Illusion finishes as they’re not totally flat but I don’t look too oily or glowy.

■Favorite foundation finish? Well, my current fave is Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24H, which is described as “velvety matte”. It’s a pretty great foundation, but not quite HG status. But I guess for now, velvety matte finish it is!
