Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Medium warm (MAC NC30)

Favorite product: Chanel Rouge Allure in Incantevole

Most used face product of March: NARS Unfiltered cheek palettes, both I and II. I have been trying to make IT Cosmetics CC Cream work for me but I haven’t had much success.

Most used eye product: Clinique Lash Power Mascara and Benefit Stay Don’t Stray eyeshadow primer.

I love everything about Incantevole! The color is the very definition of spring but still in a refined and sophisticated manner. The formula is possibly the best I’ve ever owned, and I own hundreds of high end lipsticks. I am 52 and lipstick is becoming more problematic, but this lipstick does not feather, settle into the lines on my lip, and is moisturizing enough to prevent chapping but not so moisturizing that it’s sheer or short-lived. The color is flattering on my medium warm skin tone, I mean, very very pretty! It mixes well with my red, pink, and orange-leaning lipsticks to create various colors. It looks lovely on its own and breathtaking with a pop of pink, orange, or raspberry gloss. I truly love Incantevole?

~ Most used face/cheek product this month? Bite multisticks as blush – I like the natural flush I get from Cashew and Gelato
~ Most used eye product this month? I think it’s going to be the ABH Master Palette by Mario since I’m trying to pan it this year.

Your skin tone/coloring: fair (mac nw10)

Favorite product this month? resdiscovered my love for the urban decay all nighter foundation – the shade 0.5 is a touch too dark but I get away with it by wearing high necked shirts. this foundation + baking = all day wear, which is a miracle on my oily skin.

Most used face/cheek product this month? there’s nothing I’ve been consistently using, but have been liking becca blushes (wisteria & snapdragon) as well as the new becca parisian lights highlighter.

Most used eye product this month? this might count as cheating since I just got it last week, but I have been loving the pur x boxy charm collab! on days where I’m not using that, I’ve mainly been reaching for colourpop singles as I have a bunch and have been trying to make a conscious effort to “shop my stash” more often.

Skin tone/coloring: medium neutral, blue eyes, chocolate brown hair

Favorite product this month: just purchased last week, but I think it is a Kryolan single eyeshadow in lime green, satin finish

Most used face/cheek product: I am trying to use things up so I wore Benefit Benetint on my cheeks everyday and Laura Mercier Radiance Primer as a highlighter every day. I finished the LM this morning.

Most used eye product: I switched around my palettes and liners all month and have been trying new mascaras since finishing Lancôme Monsieur Big a few weeks ago so I don’t think I used any product more than any other this month.

Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones.

Favorite product: Dior Snow Blush in 03. I have really been into blushes lately. Not sure why but I have purchased so many lately and have never owned this many blushes in my life. It was never something I particularly cared about. Anyway, both of the Dior Snow blushes that I got are just beautiful with embossing and coloring in an homage to origami (sort of a passion of mine along with makeup) and I have used them both a lot the second half of the month. They are my favorite type of blush that has a little shimmer and goes on the skin perfectly. 03 is the paler white/lavender/pink shade.

Most used face product of the month: The above mentioned blush and my usual foundation the Chosungah 22. I have also been using the Dr. Jart BB cream in the shade “light” on days I am not doing a full face of makeup and have been enjoying that also. It is much more neutral than the Chosungah and like the Chosungah it has a good SPF.

Most used eye product: Milani eye shadow primer.

I purchase from Toshiya @fudejapan. You can go to the Instagram at the IG address @fudejapan and when you see something you want or are interested in then you can leave a comment and Toshiya will respond and tell you how much. If you want it you simply leave a comment saying you want it and they send you an invoice to your email address. I have been purchasing this way for about a year now and have never had any issues. They are very responsible and professional. They will give you the price in yen and so you need to convert via google but when you are ready to purchase then you go to paypal and use the sending money option for “friends and family ” and paypal will make the exchange based on the days best rate. At this time, shipping is a flat rate of 2000 yen so I will have them hold my purchases (I pay but they don’t ship) until I have enough to warrant shipping at that price. I have purchased quite a bit that is either limited edition and not available here or never was going to come to the US. If I can help in any other way just let me know. This is a link to my IG where I show the two that I purchased.

I should have included MAC’s Goldbit (which I only just got this time around – missed it years back) in my “most used eye product”. I use that pretty much every day, even if I’m not doing much of an eye look – just UDPP, Goldbit and some liner!
