Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Most used face/cheek product this month? MAC Sur. Loreal Glam Bronzer. MAC Shiny Pretty Things Holiday Fair Face Palette

Most used eye product this month? All of my MAC eyeshadows. I’ve focused on them this month. Shroom, Espresso, Arena, Concrete, Woodwinked have been real standouts!!

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral
Favorite product this month? MAC Fix+. It’s been a while since I’ve used it but now I find myself using it everyday! So refreshing.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic in Love Glow. This is the most wonderful pink, natural yet shimmery blush I’ve ever tried! I’m kicking myself for taking so long to try it, but the price was what held me back previously.
Most used eye product this month? NYX Worth the Hype Mascara. Great price and it doesn’t flake on me.

Favorite product this month: I have three!

The Viseart Liaison Palette is outstanding. I am working through all the combinations Christine listed, as well as a few of my own. This is the type of quality that makes people take notice.

This is my second month with the La Mer cushion foundation. I really thought I would’ve found something I didn’t like about it, but it’s so nice.

Chanel Rouge Coco Flash (glossy, pigmented lipstick) in Pulse. A very fresh orange/red/coral shade, and the formula is superb.

Most used face/cheek products: La Mer Cushion Foundation and the Hourglass Ambient Edit Unlocked Palette. I have a specific Chanel blush that is currently in rotation but I can’t remember the name of it.

Most used eye products: Viseart Liaison Palette, Huda Nude Palette, Anastasia Self-Made Palette, and Viseart Bridal Satin Palette.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light/Medium, slight yellow undertone

Favorite product this month? I recently bought new skincare that I am loving: Sephora All Day Hydrator and IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cleanser.

Most used eye product this month? MAC Blacktrack Fluidline

Your skin tone/coloring: Above, with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair

Favorite product this month? The Natasha Denona Bloom Blush and Glow palette. I can’t stop using it, I love it so much!

Most used face/cheek product this month? Bare Minerals Complete Coverage Serum Concealer, Becca First Light Priming Filter, Smashbox Primerizer, Missha M BB cream.

Most used eye product this month? ABH Sultry palette, Natasha Denona Star palette, Stila Glitter and Glow liquid eyeshadows, Colourpop Super Shock Shadows and Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise cream eyeshadow in Marie Antoinette.

I’ve been trying to rotate what I use more often so I can rediscover some old favorites… I saw someone mention on Instagram mention an app called Decide Now, which is basically a roulette wheel where you can input all of your makeup (I did mine by categories, i.e. eyeshadow palettes, blush, bronzer, etc) and you can spin the wheel to decide what make up you want to wear. I always spin my wheels the night before and set out all the make up that the app chose for me to use the next day. It’s been really fun and has gotten me excited about using what I have and rediscovering favorites in my collection.

I really should try that app… I have so much, that I often find myself reaching for what’s most “convenient”, which is typically the newer stuff not yet put away, and old favorites end up neglected…

Your skin tone/coloring: Light-Medium yellow warm undertones, dark brown hair and eyes

Favorite product this month? Becca Velvet Blurring Primer, it makes my skin look amazing! I love how smooth my skin feels, how perfected my make-up looks. I’m also using the NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation right now, which tented to emphasize any dry patches; with the primer it looks way better.

Most used face/cheek product this month? Too Faced Born This Way concealer, although it’s on it’s last stretch… it’s so hard with doe foot applicators to know when the product is running out. But I’m using it everyday I wore make-up since October. For cheeks I’m still basic, throwing quickly MAC Harmony as a blush / contour.

Most used eye product this month? Still the MILK Kush Brow gel… although this is running out also. Next in rotation is a sample of the new Urban Decay one.

Your skin tone/coloring: NW20 neutral/ cool, dark brown hair, blue eyes, pigmented lips.
Favorite product this month? Nars Audacious lipstick, Carmen and Anna. Can’t decide between them. Carmen is my perfect punchy red, and Anna is the everyday neutral leaning purple I’ve been searching for.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Sleek Rose Gold blush
Most used eye product this month? Maybelline Full and Soft mascara, or if colour products Mac Nude Model palette, which is a bit of an obsession at the moment.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, salt & pepper hair

Favorite product this month? Lancome Definicils Mascara (I never thought I’d put a mascara in a “favorite product” list, but here it is!)

Most used face/cheek product this month? Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, RCMA No Color Powder, NARS Orgasm Blush

Most used eye product this month? Lancome Definicils Mascara, ABH Brow Wiz, NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer (I use it under the Brow Wiz, as well as under eyeshadow)

Skintone/Coloring: Fair-Light, very neutral; Mediterranean features.

Favorite Product: Revlon Rose Glow Hydrating + Illuminating Primer. Wet n Wild Makeup Remover is a close second, though.

Most Used Face/Cheek Product: L’Oreal Glam Bronze in Light with CoverGirl TruBlend Super Stunner Palette in It’s Lit. These aren’t necessarily my “favorite” products, but the combination is such an easy one that goes with everything, and I don’t have to think about it.

Most Used Eye Product: Aside from mascara (CoverGirl LashBlast Volume), I’ve been playing with the MAC Art Library pallettes in Nude Model & Flame-boyant pretty much equally, and often together. I’ve also been trying to squeeze in Still In The Light, which I’m actively trying to pan.

Your skin tone/coloring: Light neutral beige
Favorite product this month? L’oreal Infallible 24hr Fresh Wear Foundation. Literally the best ds foundation I have ever tried. Somewhat similar to EL DW in texture and feel, but not as drying or heavy. Very good coverage with a small amount of product; blends well. Also plays perfectly well with other foundations. I’m blown away at the quality actually. It oxidizes ever so slightly and colour 420 True Beige is an excellent match for me with my subtle neutral olive undertone. It’s not quite as green as Beauty Blender 1.4, but similar and also EL DW 1N2 Ecru which sits a bit pink on my skin. True Beige is a true beige. The three look very similar mentioned previously swatch very similarly on me, with only subtle undertone differences. If I want a perfect match, I add a touch of Sunday Riley Influencer in 140/
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tom Ford Gratuitous blush is a constant staple
Most used eye product this month? Three way tie between MJ Steeletto, Nabla Soul Blooming, and Viseart Liason. I often dabble between the three. They are definitely my hardcore favourite e/s palettes for spring.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞/𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡? Buxom Cosmetics Wanderlust Primer-Infused Blush in Seychelles; Viseart Liaison 9-Pan Eyeshadow Palette, CP It’s My Pleasure PPS Palette; Wander Beauty Wanderess Chill Palette

𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞/𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡? Face — NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer; Sephora Tranquil (contour). Cheek — Notoriously Morbid Astrology Blush; Physician’s Formula Butter Blush in Plum Rose

𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡? Purple- and plum-themed eyeshadow palettes: Viseart Liaison, CP It’s My Pleasure, Wander Beauty Wanderess Chill Palette, Revolution Makeup Violet Chocolate

Rachel, your comment reminded me that I have been using the CP It’s My Pleasure palette quite a bit, too. Not sure how I managed to forget that, though, especially considering how much purple I’ve been using for my eyes this month! 💜

Skintone MAC 20

Favorite product this month:
Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream (retinol) unscented.

Most used face and cheek product this month:
MAC Face & Body in N1. NYX Pinched blush.

Most used eye product this month:
Morphe highlighter powder in Boom, used as an eyeshadow.

Your skin tone/coloring: Next to my name! (blue-green eyes)

Favorite product this month? The lip combo I bought from the MAC Boom Boom Bloom spring collection, Cherry Mochi Lipglass and Framboise Moi lipstick.

Most used face/cheek product this month? UD Jawbone, MAC Oh My, Passion, Laura Geller Pink Buttercream, Ofra Glazed Donut, Essence Satin Love and ABH Amrezy highlighter.

Most used eye product this month? I bounce around between quite a few different palettes and singles and change up my look almost every day, so I’m not 100% sure what saw the most love! Maybe Smashbox Punked Cover Shot Palette, PMG Bronze Temptation and Viseart Amethyst for e/s looks? Oh, plus CP Telepathy is in steady rotation, too!

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite product this month? It’s hard to pick a lipstick, but EA’s Ginger, Clarins Joli Rouge lipstick in Spicy Cinnamon and Art Deco’s Indian Summer would be some that I have worn pretty continuously over the past month.

Most used face/cheek product this month? Definitely my L’Oreal True Match foundation in Rose Ivory and my EA blush in Sweet Peach.

Most used eye product this month? It would have to be Dior’s Bonne Etoile quint, that had been sitting in my small quad bag for quite awhile. The teal blue and mint green shades, with some help from other palettes (gold, rose gold etc) seemed to work with most of my summer wardrobe.

Your skin tone/coloring: light
Favorite product this month? Junetics E24 Pure Energy Night Cream, fantastic discovery
Most used face/cheek product this month? Tarte Shape Tape foundation and Nars Orgasm blush
Most used eye product this month? The Thrive eye brightener in STella

My skin tone/coloring: MAC NC43-45

Favorite product this month: LeLabo Another 13 EDP

Most used face/cheek product this month: Revlon Candid foundation/Charlotte Tilbury ‘s Pillow Talk Blush

Most used eye product this month: Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk eyeshadow palette.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair neutral with a preference for cool.

Favorite product this month? Charlotte Tilbury Super Nineties. I wanted to hate it, but it is beautiful and has no tug, like Very Victoria.

Most used face/cheek product this month? Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk blush. Still on a blush kid.

Most used eye product this month? Dominique Berries & Cream palette. Probably in my top 5 palettes ever, fomula is amazing, I reach for it when I need to do my makeup and not have any fuss.

Your skin tone/coloring:
It’s extremely hard to color match me, so many colors on the same face, racially nebulous look, but let’s say MAC NW15-25, Stila lightest shade, NARS Mont Blanc/Vallauris, Imam Sand 1 and Sand 3, Light Green eyes, Dark Brown hair.

Favorite product this month?
Urban Decay brushes.
NARS reformulated Outre Mer and Persia eyeshadows (WOW.)
Pat McGrath lipsticks.
Azélique Cosmetics Illuminating Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20.
Mineral Fusion Brush-On Defense SPF30 powder.

Most used face/cheek product this month?
NARS Studio Cheek Palette blush #1. Every time I wear this people give me compliments. I wear it to “anti-blush”. It’s a light pink that hides my redness underneath, but doesn’t look ashy. I just got MAC Fleur Real hoping to use it the same way.
Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Serum
F.A.B. Facial Radiance Pads

Most used eye product this month? Laura Mercier eye primer in Wheat.
MAC LiquidLast eyeliner in Point Black.
Lancôme Mr. Big mascara (!)
Physicians Formula Feather Brow In Brunette.
NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Concealer.

Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name, fair with neutral undertones, dark brown eyes and grey hair.

Favorite product this month? L’Oreal Fresh Wear Foundation. Still need to pick up the right shade but really enjoying the product. It wears well, covers well, although nothing covers my hyperpitmentation, is not super matte and applies with fingers, BB or brush with equal coverage and finish. It can be built up without turning into a cakey mess. If I can find my right shade I think it will be a good everyday foundation for me and also great for travelling since my Chosungah doesn’t travel well. It is in too big a container.

Most used face/cheek product this month? It is probably a tie between the foundation above and the Chantecaille Butterfly Blush. I can never remember the name and just remember it by the butterfly that was embossed on top. I am still loving it and want to pick up a couple more when I go to someplace where they stock Chantecaille.

Most used eye product this month: Probably my NYX Waterproof Primer, Thrive Causemetics mascara and Huda Emerald Obsession e/s.

Fair with pink undertones, green eyes, brown hair.
Favorite product this month: Dior Capture Totale Dreamskin Advanced
Most used face/cheek product this month: Hourglass bronzer
Most used eye product this month: Huda Desert Dusk palette

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite product this month? probably Elizabeth Arden Lip Fix lip primer (thanks to this stuff, I can actually wear UD’s Love Drunk “comfort matte” lipstick)
Most used face/cheek product this month? IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye concealer; Dior Rosy Glow blush
Most used eye product this month? UD Beached palette

Skin tone/coloring: Fair-light neutral

Favorite product this month: Anastasia Loose Highlighter in Snowflake

Most used face/cheek product this month: Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Setting Powder in Cupcake

Most used eye product this month: Colourpop Fame Palette

Skin tone/coloring: medium tan, slightly warm; dark brown hair, dark green eyes
Favorite product this month: such a hard questions because I’m always trying new things. I guess I’m going with Wet n Wild lipliner, since I use it all the time. It’s a pale nude shade, looks peachy on the cap but it’s not.
Most used face/cheek product: Probably my Tarte Park Avenue Princess palette
Most used eye product: My staples – Elf Camo Concealer as a shadow base and L’Oreal white lash primer. But for color, I dusted off my Jaclyn Hill Morphe (OG) palette a couple of weeks ago and have been using it ever since. I even came here and looked up Christine’s posts on it to get inspo for new eye looks with it.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/Olive undertone

Favorite product this month? My Natasha Denona Safari and Biba palettes.

Most used face/cheek product this month? I never change up my face products much, but I have been loving the Nudestix blush in In The Nude, it’s a really nice cream blush.

Most used eye product this month? Safari and Biba for sure. Mostly Safari though, I didn’t think I would end up loving that palette so much. I actually use it every day, it’s a great daily palette as well I think because it is all matte I can still make a nice wearable eye look for work (and I work in an professional/office setting).

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair [extremely… to the point of having a blue undertone]

Favorite product this month? Kat Von D Cake pencil

Most used face/cheek product this month? Kat von D Lock It foundation

Most used eye product this month? Revlon Colorstay #720 [for work]. Non-work days I’m all over the place. Have recently discovered the TF Georgia Peach palette [I’m way behind the curve here] these colors are new to me and I’m having fun with them.
