Three products you couldn’t put down this month? Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover Perfecting &Shaping Wand in TP01, Uoma Cleopatra Ink eyeliner in Blackety Black Y’All, Koh Gen Do Long Lush Treatment Mascara in black.
Favorite cheek products this month? Afrique Blush by Juvia’s Place in Serafina. Such a pretty coral. I also got a lot of use out of my Milani Bronzer in All Over Glow
Favorite base products this month? The Danessa Myricks Perfecting Wand above is the best color corrector ever. It erases the blue circles under my eyes and also cancels out most of my broken capillaries. I used up a promo size of Tatcha Liquid Silk Canvas, which I loved and will buy in full size in the fall, and now I am using Catrice 1 Minute Face Protector. The Tatcha and the Catrice are totally different but they are both perfect primers for my Milani Conceal + Perfect powder foundation.

Three products you couldn’t put down this month? MAC Haux eyeshadow, Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil, Cover Girl Clump Crusher Mascara. Since I’m wearing masks, I only do my eyes these days.

Favorite base products this month? Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation will always be my favorite base product. These days I only use it for touch-ups under my eyes.

Favorite base products this month? Favorite? Gee, idk…I’m pretty much stuck using MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof foundation in NC41 because even though I’m scrupulous about protecting my face from the sun, it needs to match the rest of me. Problem is, this foundation works great when we have more humidity in the air than this summer’s NonSoon. So this looks kinda dry and flat this year. Plus, I do need a darker shade. I’m just too cheap to do that! Besides, I’d probably get the Studio Sculpt formula instead. Not sure if MAC Stores are allowing shade matching during the covid pandemic?

I’m not sure if this would qualify as my absolute favourite powder foundation, but MUFE is so incredibly good at undertone range and I found a shade which works well with my summer skin.

I love that Chanel quad but here on the opposite side of the Equator, it’s high summer (temps upwards of 30C), though I remember when I first got that quad, it was sweltering and yet I was so thrilled by it that I wore it in the extreme heat “just because”.

Favorite base products this month? I’ve been using the deluxe sample of the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream as a primer and it works great. Expensive primer though

Three products you couldn’t put down this month? First product is My Smashbox Contour kit. I bought it on a bit of a whim and I’m just loving it so much. I like it even better than the NYX contour kit I purchased last month. I’m getting pretty darn good at contouring my face and keeping it natural 😉 I never thought I’d say that haha. Always shied away from contouring before.
Second is Ofra matte liquid lip in Nude Potion. I’ve been wearing my liquid lips at home to use them up before they go bad, and I have to say this is my all-time favorite Nude shade. I think it was originally a collab with Nikkie Tutorials (I’m not sure as I don’t watch her channel)
Third is my BH Cosmetics Brazil palette Rio edition (the all shimmer one) I’ve been playing a lot with colorful eyes to offset the sad looking masks. This palette has so many color options along with transformer shades, while the palette size remains manageable thanks to the tiny pans. I will take that any day over palettes with giant pans… I don’t think I’ve ever completely panned an eyeshadow before it went bad.
Favorite cheek products this month? Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Thrilled and Nars Blush in Deep Throat. I like that one much better than Orgasm. Yay for mini sizes.
Favorite base products this month? Maybelline Fit Me Dewy in 120 Classic Ivory. It’s a dull muted peach that works perfectly for my skin tone. I have yet to find a better match in a liquid foundation, and I really like the formula. That was another big win for me this month.
