Your skin tone/coloring: light and warm
Your go-to cleanser right now? Dermadoctor Wrinkle Revenge AHA cleanser
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Vichy Micellar Water
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Paula’s Choice Hydralight mineral sunscreen with spf30 – it’s fine as a sunscreen but I’m really not happy about it as a moisturizer.
I agree with you on that Paula’s Choice sunscreen- I like it, but that one isn’t moisturizing at all, it seems to mattify/soak up oil, so I only use on my T-zone, and it works well there
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/Cool
Your go-to cleanser right now? CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Simple Wipes + Banilla Clean It Zero Radiance
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Tie – Supergoop Serum SPF 30/Missha Sunmilk SPF 50
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, neutral undertones, and freckly with red hair
Your go-to cleanser right now? CeraVe Foaming Cleanser
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Bioderma Sensibio
Your go-to sunscreen right now? SkinCeuticals Sheer Physical Fusion
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium, olive toned complexion
Your go-to cleanser right now? Aveeno Positively Radiant Brightening Cleanser
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Coconut oil
Your go-to sunscreen right now? I don’t use sunscreen :$
Sunscreen is sooo important! Do you at least use a moisturizer with SPF?
Hi! My moisturizer (The Body Shop’s Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream) doesn’t contain SPF. I haven’t been able to find a sunscreen that doesn’t feel tacky 🙁 Do you have any suggestions?
I really like Skin Food Brocoli Sun Cream. Although it’s a higher SPF, it’s not heavy at all. I believe it’s a Korean brand, and you can find it online, but they do have actual stores.
If you can’t find a good sunscreen, at least wear a wide brimmed hat if you’re spending long stretches of time out doors!
Thank you so much for letting me know! I will definitely be checking it out 🙂
◾Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium cool NW-25
◾Your go-to cleanser right now? Cera Ve bar of soap
◾Your go-to makeup remover right now? Bioderma Ceraline Water and Kirkland Makup Wipes
◾Your go-to sunscreen right now? La Roche Posey
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/cool
Your go-to cleanser right now? iS Clinical Cleansing Complex
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Target brand eye makeup remover — the iS cleanser work so well I usually can skip this unless I had been sporting major eye makeup that day.
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Citrix Vitamin C Antioxidant Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta-red hair, hazel/green eyes.
Your go-to cleanser right now? Nu Skin 180° Face Wash
Your go-to makeup remover right now? bhcosmetics Eye & Lip Makeup Remover. I stock up on it whenever it goes on sale for $2.95 (it is right now, actually). It takes off anything: Waterproof, super-staining reds and hot pinks, dark blues. Everything.
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Face: Neutragena Ultra Sheer® Dry-Touch Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 100+ (thank to everyone here who recommended it!). Body: Continuous Mist Spray Sunscreen – SPF 50, because that’s what we have in the house. I don’t really care what brand as long as the SPF is 50 or higher.
Body Sunscreen Brand is Up & Up (Target Store Brand). Sorry I left that out.
I’ve been hearing great things about the Neutragena Ultra Sheer. Looks like I need to make a trip to Ulta…
It’s quite nice for a drugstore range facial sunscreen! It doesn’t completely mess up my makeup if I wait for it to dry before applying, and I don’t think it’s ever broken me out.
There’s also a new physical version of it, which I plan to try next!
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/ Neutral
Your go-to cleanser right now? FAB Face Cleanser, gets off every bit of makeup!
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Simple Cleansing Wipes, but usually Neutrogena makeup removing wipes
Your go-to sunscreen right now?
FACE: this very moment, I’m trying to use a deluxe sample of the Murad oil-control mattifier SPF 15, but usually I’ll use Purlisse daily moisturizer with SPF 30.
BODY: If I’m just sitting in the yard (not in direct sun all day) I’ll use a tanning sunscreen SPF 12 by Hawaiian I think? If I’m going to the beach or out all day, I’ll use Coppertone SPF 50 spray sunscreen.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair w/ lots of pink/red undertones
Your go-to cleanser right now? CeraVe Foaming Cleanser
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Estee Lauder Take It Away Total Makeup Remover (The lotion looking stuff in the blue pump bottle [IT’S INCREDIBLE])
Your go-to sunscreen right now? (Japanese) Biore AQUA Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+ PA++++
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/Light with cool undertones (MAC NW20)
Your go-to cleanser right now? Finishing up Origins’ Checks and Balances in the a.m., Clinique’s Liquid Facial Soap for oily skin in the p.m.
Your go-to makeup remover right now? MAC’s makeup remover wipes. I’m not impressed, but it’s too late to return them. So now I’m stuck with them for the next few months (I somehow ended up with the 100 pack). I prefer cleansing oils, though.
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Trying a sample of the Clarins sunscreen, but my HG is the Shiseido Urban Environment SPF 47 sunscreen.
Your skin tone/coloring: NC30
Your go-to cleanser right now? L’Occitane cleansing oil
Your go-to makeup remover right now? The oil does a great job of removing makeup but I use Bioderma after to take off anything left
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Neutrogena and I’ll use IT cosmetics CC cream with SPF 50 on top if I’m going to be in the sun all day.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light warm (NC15)
Your go-to cleanser right now? Boscia Makeup Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil
Your go-to makeup remover right now? The Boscia oil serves this purpose too
Your go-to sunscreen right now? On my body, I use Coppertone Wet n Clear Spray SPF 50+, and on my body I use the Neutrogena Sheer Touch SPF 70
I mean on my face I use the Neutrogena stuff
Your skin tone/coloring: Porcelain
Your go-to cleanser right now? St Ives green tea scrub
Your go-to makeup remover right now? e.l.f. studio makeup remover cleansing cloths, Almay oil-free eye makeup remover.
Your go-to sunscreen right now? I generally buy whatever’s cheapest spf50 in bulk haha. Right now I’m using Target Up&Up Sport. I also use a facial moisturizer and cc cream with spf.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair-Light with Neutral Undertones
Your go-to cleanser right now? Just finished a sample of Glam Glow Super Cleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser and loved it. Also love my Garnier Clean + Blackhead Eliminating Scrub for exfoliating.
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Clinique Take Off the Day Cleansing Balm – love it even with my oily/combo skin it doesnt make it any oiler and takes everything off!
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Nourishing Moisturizer SPF 30
Your skin tone/coloring: Beige/Yellow (NW25-30)
Your go-to cleanser right now? Lush’s Aqua Marina
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Garnier Clean Nourishing Cleansing Oil (4th bottle right now)
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid Lotion Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 55
Your skin tone/coloring: fair neutral redhead
Your go-to cleanser right now? Right now I’m satisfied with the Garnier Smoothing Cream Cleanser for dry skin. I am probably going to repurchase my Josie Maran argan cleansing oil when this one runs out, as it leaves my skin a little more hydrated afterwards.
Your go-to makeup remover right now? CVS brand version of the Neutrogena oil-free. I actually like the CVS one better…. and I use Aveeno radiant wipes on the go when I’m not at home.
Your go-to sunscreen right now? My latest purchase (full sized after getting a sample in my birchbox) and love: Coola SPF 50 Mango sport moisturizer. Probably the best sunscreen I’ve ever used, so excited about this line!
I’ve tried the CVS version of several products that I really loved, and the CVS has always been better!
Folks sleep on CVS. They have awesome products!
Agreed! I like a lot of the CVS brand stuff. I’m bummed they’re discontinuing Milani though… 🙁 that was almost always the reason I would go there.
Really? All of my local stores have been expanding their displays, and actually keeping up with the stock!
I heard it from Whats Up In Makeup by jenluvreviews, she said they were removing Milani to make room for e.l.f. Perhaps it’s only in select stores then because commentators were saying their Milani displays were already gone. I see they still sell it online, so here’s hoping.
I love Milani too but I would love for just ONE retail store to carry the entire ELF line. (Besides the ELF store in NYC ?)
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium Deep
Your go-to cleanser right now? Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser
Your go-to makeup remover right now? Boscia Makeup Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil
Your go-to sunscreen right now? Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM
Your skin tone/coloring: Fairest (would be approx. NW05 if it existed!).
Your go-to cleanser right now?
I’ve been using the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Foaming Cleanser. I prefer foaming cleaners at the moment since I feel that they make my face feel thoroughly cleansed and ready for my skincare. 🙂
Your go-to makeup remover right now?
For now I’m just using a Nivea Essentials one and considering the price it does the job pretty well. I’ve tried more expensive ones but I’m in the mood for trying out cheaper options in case they turn out to be just as good. I’m still testing it but so far so good!
Your go-to sunscreen right now?
It’s definitely the La Roche Posay Anthelios range. I use the 50+ spray for my skin and the matte 50+ gel-creme for my face. The one for my face is especially good since it keeps my skin matte all day with no touch-ups, which for me is pretty much unheard of! Definitely worth it so check the range out. 😀
I’ll definitely check out that face sunscreen! I’m fine with the cheap stuff for my body but my face is so sensitive it’s hard to find one that doesn’t break me out or ruin my makeup! Thanks for the tip

Your go-to makeup remover right now? MAC cleansing oil – takes off EVERYTHING
Your go-to sunscreen right now? IT Cosmetics CC with SPF 50+ or, if I’m going without any colour product on my face, it’s La Roche Posay (the one with SPF 60) or Clinique SuperDefense if I’m not going to be out for a long time. For my body, anything will do so long as it’s SPF 45 or higher – Ombrelle and Neutrogena are the 2 I’m using currently)

Sunscreen: L’Oréal Sublime Sun, but I plan to switch to Skin Food Broccoli Sun Cream, which I mix with Ardency Inn Cream Color Concentrate. As for body, any spray I find on sale, but I also stay covered fromthe neck down. I do need to find ssomething for my hands, though!

Your go-to sunscreen: First Aid Beauty Pure Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer 40 spf on face, coconut oil on body ( this is actually used by Phillipinos and other peoples in and around the area, and it WORKS! Not sure how it would work on fair-lighter medium skintone though?)
I’m on the fairer side, and my “morning” sunscreen, during the school year,is a thick layer of either coconut oil or shea butter. I spend the morning getting my daughter ready, slather it on my face, walk her the 1 1/2 blocks to school, then come home and get myself ready. It’s especially great in the Winter, when my skin is especially dry, as I’m getting a nice “moisture mask”, as well, LOL!

Go to makeup remover this summer: Coconut oil for full coverage makeup days. Tatcha camellia cleansing oil for light makeup days.
Go to sunscreen: Aveeno body lotion sunscreen. For my face I wear a prescription sunscreen from my dermatologist in conjunction with Dermatologic Cosmetic Labs (DCL). I’m chocolate and I wear sunscreen ALL year round (including the dead of winter). Melanin blessed people need sunscreen too. One year my brother inadvertently told me that sunscreen is “optional” for him (his coloring is NC42/45). After the tongue lashing from big sister, he began a sunscreen regimen. His preferred sunscreen is by Neutrogena. Ladies, make sure the men in your lives are wearing sunscreen too.
Yes! Everyone needs sunscreen!

Now I have to avoid chemical sunscreens (wowza allergy) and aloe (sensitivity), so Jack Black & a host of sunscreens are out the window. Chemical sunscreens cause my temp to drop to -93′ and I have to lie down ?pass out? For 3-4 hours. Too bad it took me til mid August last year to figure it out. I would have enjoyed the cool Atlantic so much more…. I live at the beach & couldn’t stand the sun for >15 min. Could barely walk the dog in daylight. Glad I figured it out & THAT’S over.
Wow, I guess it autocorrected what was supposed to be ninety three degrees!
