Skin tone: Nc23! Light with prominent warm undertones.

Favorite product this month: BITE amuse Boucher liquid lipsticks! I have three of them now. And I’m in LOVE.

Most used face/cheek product this month: benefit bella bamba! I love it this time of the year!

Most used eye product this month: I pulled my modern renassaince back out!! Iv been using it almost every day for two weeks. I’m still madly in love with this palette!

I wish I could love MR, I’ve been trying so hard to love it after buying it as a birthday present to myself and I just can’t get into it. And the colors are beautiful!

Maybe I’ll give it to my best friend, she may like it more than me…sigh…

Funny how one feels one should like a product that is universally raved. I have the same issue with Naked 1. On me, it’s a warm, muddy mess! Even one and done just, well, suck. I think everyone has a wtf miss palette in their stash….or given away. The question is, why do we feel terrible, wrong, or chagrined by it? Books and films are the same way. You get an uncomfortable feeling, when you dislike something that is highly popular. Try for a little while longer….then give it to the person who would truly enjoy it.

Your skin tone/coloring: light and warm
Favorite product this month? Nars Bord de Plage
Most used face/cheek product this month? Nars Bord de Plage: Laguna bronzer and Rivage highlighter
Most used eye product this month? Benefit Rollerlash mascara. I finally got a deluxe size to try it and I’m liking it, although it dried out and started clumping rather quickly (but it could be due to the sample size).

The full size roller lash never clumps. It’s a great mascara and the brown is lovely and gives a softer look for a change from black : )

*Your skin tone/coloring: Deep Dark NW50

*Favorite product this month? The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5%…I’m getting the 10% next time!

*Most used face/cheek product this month? MAC Taraji Glow…still a staple in my collection

*Most used eye product this month? NYX Dance the Tides as a transition shade. It’s a great dupe for MAC Brown Script, Coastal Scents Oktoberfest, MUG Cocoa Bear, etc.

Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium with yellow undertones, dark brown eyes, black hair

Favorite product this month? Bobbi Brown Crush lipstick in Telluride – love
Most used face/cheek product this month? Chanel Tweed Cherry Blossom Blush – love – need to use a light touch, but is the color my cheeks turn naturally when i blush
Most used eye product this month? By Terry Ombre Blackstar Misty Rock Eye Shadow

Darlene, I love the Channel Tweed Cherry Blossom Blush as it’s my natural cheek colour as well. Agree with you, it needs a light touch but it’s gorgeous 🙂

Your skin tone/coloring: NW45-47
Favorite product this month? La girl pro concealer in Chestnut
Most used face/cheek product this month? La girl and Becca Rose Gold highlighter
Most used eye product this month? Too faced better than Sex and Essence Lash Princess Mascara

Your skin tone/coloring: fair warm (~NC-10), blue eyes, light brown hair with copper highlights

Favorite product this month? Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA liquid. Finally just tried this out, works well for me.

Most used face/cheek product this month? Outside of staples like usual foundation — MAC blush in Prism, often with lightest touch of NARS Taos on top.

Most used eye product this month? Thanks to someone’s comment on Temptalia (I’m sorry, don’t recall whose), I’m loving Chanel Stylo Yeux eyeliner in Eros (#928). It’s a warm, reddish brownish color that works well with my blue eyes and is durable.

If you like that bha, you might like the Resist formula even better. It’s a tad pricier, but lighter, less viscous, with the same bha. I still have all 3 Paula bhas, but like Resist for summer, especially. And tone with Cosrx aha/bha, which is a pH balancer. I can use all the bha I can get. St use the Cosrx bha (blackhead power whatever) also. Cosrx seems to conform to Paula principles quite nicely.

Skintone: Medium Warm (I was shocked to discover how dark my skin has gotten this summer, I went from LANCOME Teint Idole Ultra in 330N (which was admittedly a bit too neutral but easy to fix with FX Drops, right past 370W and into 410W). The funny thing about this is that I haven’t had any real outdoor sun exposure since June but I have been using Clinique self tanner in dark once a week so I have to give credit for my golden glow to Clinique.

Favorite product this month: So I’ve always used lip liners (they make the end result more polished, the color lasts longer, and bleeding is less of an issue), but for whatever reason, I had stopped using lip liner during spring and early summer. Last month I bought Estée Lauder doublewear lipliner in Rose (on me it’s a nude) and suddenly I am not only falling in love with nude lips (WTH?), but I am using all my other lip liners as well and falling in love with multiple lipsticks I already own because THEY LOOK SO MUCH BETTER with lipliner! So I have to give credit to this one pencil liner for helping me to rethink nude lips and reminding me how much better my lipsticks look and perform with liner.

Most used face/cheek products: I have used Smashbox primer this month with decent results (I never used to do well with Smashbox as my skin was too oily, but this year I am not oily for first time in my life). For foundations I have been using the IT Cosmetics CC cream and Giorgio Armani’s Luminous Silk, depending on my mood. Luminous Silk is a love, I’m still not sure about IT. What has made a dramatic impact this month is Lorac’s Baked Porefection Powder applied with dry Beautyblender. I used Porefection for years and got away from it for the past 2-3 years due to wanting to experiment with other powders. I have been using it the past two weeks and WOW, now I know why I used to love this powder! For cheeks I have been loving NARS Exhibit A and Outer Limits. Also, I love love love combining MAC’s Give Me Sun with Jouer Skinnydip highlighter.

Most used eye products: I have been really loving the combination of Tarte’s Lash Primer with LANCOME Monsieur Big Mascara. For eyeshadows I have been dipping into Jouer’s Skinnydip, Houda’s Rose Gold Palette, various colors from my Chanel Quads, and lots of matte support for all eye looks with colors from Viseart Warm And Dark Matte palettes.

Love this week’s questions! Can’t wait to read everyone’s responses.

Your skin tone/coloring: cool, fair
Favorite product this month? I’ve been loving MAC Twinks in the crease these last few weeks. I’m reaching for Autumn shades.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Easy one. I use NARS Tinted Moisturiser every day and I love applying it (with my hands), I love the finish. It just makes me look healthy and fresh.
Most used eye product this month? Probably MAC Painterly paint pot. Some days I’ll just apply, eyeliner and mascara. Mascara would be the other most used eye produce: Lancôme Doll Eyes. I’ve been using it for the last 3 years.

Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertones.
Favorite product this month? I have been loving my Yes Please! palette from Colourpop.
Most used face/cheek product this month? TooFaced Sweethearts Perfect Flush blush in Candy Glow!
Most used eye product this month? Probably my Covergirl SuperSizer, though I haven’t been wearing too much makeup this month.

Your skin tone/coloring: Pale. Neutral undertones.

Favorite product this month? Probably the L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara. I’ve never had a mascara excite me like this one!

Most used face/cheek product this month? Paaarty by Tarte, it came in the Sephora birthday gift and I’ve been using it over Galifornia. Such a gorgeous nude blush!

Most used eye product this month? It’s a toss up between L’Oreal Lash Paradise and Marc Jacobs gel liner. Both are must haves!

Isn’t it the best?? It just looks so natural yet so flushed! I think Sephora has a full size and I’m definitely splurging on it when my sample runs out. 😀

Your skin tone/coloring: Light medium with yellow tones

Favorite product this month? FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie priming moisturiser!

Most used face/cheek product this month? Colourpop Gimme More highlighter palette.

Most used eye product this month? Zoeva eye pencil in Glance

NC20 light olive
Toss-up between Milk Blur liquid matte and Christophe Robin cleansing volumizing paste for hair.
Rediscovered love for Estee Lauder pur color envy blush in audacious plum
Rediscovered/repurchased MJ pencil in Jazzberry, Mac star violet and Mac hidden motive. Pops green hazel eyes.

Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite product this month? Shiseido Ibuki Smart Filtering Smoother
Most used face/cheek product this month? Face – either the Ibuki Smoother or Lise Watier Sunsmart; on cheeks it’s been MAC Rosy Cheeks Extra Dimension Blush
Most used eye product this month? Chanel Tisse Rivoli (the mirror fell out the other day as I was cleaning off some smudges; I reglued it and now the lid won’t snap shut even though there’s nothing in the way; my “swanky” Chanel case looks a bit podunk with a rubber band around it!) and Nars Rue Allent and also Sephora Diving in Malaysia liner.

Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones, MAC NW5-10.
Favorite product this month: Pixie by Petra Milky Mist Moisturizer. My face has been drier than usual and I have been using all of my usual moisturizers but this is an easy spray on mist that I can actually use during the day over my makeup. I also like the smell and it doesn’t make me greasy or disturb my makeup.

Most used face/cheek product: It is kind of a toss up between the Ciate Glow to Illuminate Blushes and MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Rosy Cheeks. I have used one or the other everyday and sometimes both.

Most used eye product this month: Again a bit of a toss up between the Marc Jacobs Eye Conic palettes in Frivoluxe and Provocouture and my By Terry Ombre Black Star’s that I purchased on my vacay.

Another Rosy Cheeks fan. Isn’t it the prettiest blush? I want to pick up one or two more of the Extra Dimension blushes because I love the finish so much.

Yes, I love the formula. I have two now and plan to pick up a couple more myself. So easy to wear and blends beautifully. They are so pigmented and I was a little concerned because I am so fair but I tap off onto my wrist and then apply and they are perfect.

Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

Favorite product this month? That I bought: NARS Blissful; ABH Matte Lipsticks (Smoke, Griffin, Resin), and the Wet n Wild Midnight Mermaid Collection Box.

Christine, an update there, the shadows from Midnight Mermaid are liquid, not cream. They dry down very quickly. They actually worked really well used just on my mobile lids. I used two thin layers and had no cracking or flaking. Next, I’m going to try them as toppers over powdered shadows. I think they’d make great eyeliners, too.

Most used face/cheek product this month? Face: (Because of the prolonged heat this month) Too Faced Hangover Face Primer; bareMinerals Mineral Veil in Original; powder foundations. Cheeks: TheBalm Balm Desert; coral blushes; NARS Blissful.

Most used eye product this month? I’ve been going very light on eye makeup because of the heat. Most days it’s been UD Primer Potion in Enigma, a shimmery nude or taupe one-and-done e/s, and Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara.

Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favorite product this month? I love the Elizabeth Arden lipstick in Bronze – it’s a beautiful shade and another product I have loved is my Chia Seed facial oil, very nourishing.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Nude by Nature BB creme in porcelain – I have been using it under my foundation and really like the texture.
Most used eye product this month? Natio Dose of Colours Golden – fab mix of cool and warm toned neutrals

Genevieve, I love the Elizabeth Arden lipstick formula also. I find them very comfortable to wear and although they go on smoothly and nourish my lips I don’t have problems with them migrating into my lip lines. Red Door Red is one of my favorite red lipsticks. I will check out Bronze when I am in Missoula next.

Deborah, I have bought quite a few of the EA lipsticks, simply because the older stock ones are on sale and another lovely shade is Goldmine. I like the Red Door shade, but it turns pinkish on my lips. However the formula is beautiful. You could probably get these cheaper on ebay.

Skin tone/coloring: fair/light, cool to neutral.
Favorite product this month: Toss-up between the IT Cosmetics CC Cream in Light (IT is finally at Sephora Canada) and ABH matte lipstick in Kiss.
Most used face/cheek product: I’ve been enjoying the new cream-to-powder FAB Mango Butter Multi Stick in Rosé. I’ve been using it as a highlighter (it’s very subtle) and on my lips as a topper. It can be used on eyelids as well.
Most used eye product: Revlon Colorstay Crème Eyeshadow in Praline. So easy to apply and it stays on my eyelids all day.

~nw 20. Surprise fave product: Black Lace Rabbit l/s. Also like the blush. ‘course I got 3 Nars fall lips and blissful today, so I will already answer for next month with those fine ones! Most used cheek? Change up too often, so, will say differin and mometasone to be literal. Go, scripts. Eye: heroine make mascara. Have been doing a lot of orange and green, CP SSS or powder, with mufe AS blush in the rust family. Channeling fall early.

Just came back from vacay! So atm my skin is a medium with yellow golden undertones.

Fav product: Garnier 2 in 1 waterproof eye makeup remover. Been searching high and low for a drugstore eye makeup remover that legit removes waterproof mascara and I think I found it.

Face/ cheek product: BareMinerals Original powder foundation.

Fav eye product: Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerize in Marie Antoinette. I’ll do a matte brown all over my lids and under, and pat the cream shadow in the center and in my inner corner and it gives it this nice sheeny wet look. ?

Skintone / coloring : light, MAC NC 20, med brown hair and eyes

Most used eye product : ABH Subculture Palette. Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeliner in Nude. MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara

Your skin tone/coloring: light yellow/gold

Favorite product this month? opaque lip products in general — all about the strong lips this month, *almost* to the point of ignoring everything else

Most used face/cheek product this month? Bite Beauty multistick in Blondie — the ideal counterpoint to a super strong lip (usually overlaid by My Pretty Zombie blush in Reclusa, or Lost Soul from the UD Pirates of the Caribbean cheek palette)

Most used eye product this month? A classic! … MAC paint pot in Groundwork

I am extremely fair (strawberry blonde). My new favourite is Besame American Beauty lipstick. Favourite cheek product is Benefit Coralista. As always, ABH Renaissance palette is my most used eye product (Love Letter and Realgar). But I did use Colour Pop Hello Kitty eye shadow quad too.
