Safe for me to pass on the beautiful brushes, but danger danger danger for the ridiculously expensive brush holder.
This is sparking my ever-present coveting of natural hair watercolor brushes for painting, lol. It’s funny—I’m fine with economical brushes for my face but when it comes to painting my heart is straight-up bougie. These look lovely, and I’m a sucker for storied wood.
This is so beautiful. I have to convince myself I don’t need them because I really don’t.
Sonia G. brushes are very good. I think I’ll use my Beautylish gift cards to get this set.
Would you recommend the flat definer or pencil for doing eyeshadow under the eye? I already have a crease brush from Wayne Goss & a Mac 217 (shader) but really want to try her brushes per your recommendation!
I prefer a pencil myself but a flat definer would work for sharper/tighter lining!
Thanks for the reply! Prob. would get a pencil then 🙂
I can’t speak to the Sonia G brushes but the Rephr 03 small pencil brush and 23, and even smaller one, are both amazing. They’re the best natural hair pencil brushes I’ve tried because they’re perfect for keeping shadow close to the bottom lash line and for adding highlight to the tiny inner corner area. Most pencil brushes are too big for me and I end up with shadow smudged farther down on my lower lash line than I want but not these Rephr ones. The 23 is sold out but the 3 is available and they’re having a big sale now.
Yup! I’m planning to purchase both! I love her current brush holder and this one is not only a little longer but love the artwork. I have all of her brushes with some duplicates. For the price I think this is great and am planning to add these to my collection. Sonia introduced me to Fude and since then there has been no turning back!
Zero interest in either. I love her brushes but don’t card about wood handles or case.
I’m sure it’s all very nice.
I wish I would’ve waited to use my Beautylish gift cards for this instead of the ND Multichrome palette
This set is love at first sight. I love my Sonia G brushes and the mini booster is my favorite for blending, it works every time. Wood handles are just so pretty, I’m excited to add to my collection.
That brush holder is gorgeous! No way I’m going to buy it when I already have a bunch of $5 elf ones…but it is way nicer.
I’m not sure, but I think the Mini Booster (looks like an eyeshadow blender) would be a nice addition. But since I’m having better results with Rephr and Wayne Goss blenders than hers, I’d have to see.
This is such a gorgeous brush set. I love that she included 3 of my favorites from the sky eye set. I also like that all of the brushes can be used with multiple product formulas with the exception of the classic face. TBH the only thing I am not really feeling are the shorter handles as my brush holders are on the taller side, but I’ll figure out how to store them.
I love natural hair brushes. Mine are mostly Wayne Goss and Rephr, lots of Rephr now, but I think I’ll get this set. I’ve only heard good things about her brushes.
I see that this is a mini set, how small are they as a whole compared to other Sonia G brushes?
