We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Clearly they found a true lip formula. The arm swatches look dreadful. What does that portend for the peri-lip skin? Probably stays put on the lip, good. As usual, not all shades perform equally, and some pull into liplines more than others. The usual suspects. Some more sheer, some more opaque. But there’s a nice range of shades, Perpetual Holiday looking pretty decent, given all the issues with this shade family (it’s even lower performing in Audacious.). Personal preference is for the oranges, despite A &F looking uneven and not like the swatch. Can’t, Won’t looks swell. I know you’ll tell us if it has my dreaded hidden pink/coral pull. This is a new line/formula, not LE, right?

Looks like a mixed bag, will wait for reviews. I do like that some of them are bright colors but have some translucency, makes them easier to wear, nice for summer. Wonder if they really leave a stain behind. Eyeing Tattoo My Heart, think it will go well with MAC Spring Flock blush.

I like all of these, but I don’t usually get on with lip stains, my lips usually react to them, like Benefit Benetint. It’s not as if I can return them easily here ?.

So I was just looking at the comments since these released recently and I have the same problem! I’ve tried the YSL glossy stains and the Revlon ones and a few hours later and for a couple of days my lips are dying! So I just tried these on and around 4 hours later my lips were so dry and in pain:( it’s such a shame because I love how they feel and the stain that they leave behind. I read somewhere it’s because of the alcohol they contain. I checked the mac’s ingredients and they have alcohol too. I will try the Ysl pop water shades of you say you can handle them. Here’s hoping!

MAC is really late to the party on these! YSL & Dior have had these oil- gel hybrids available for a while now. I have a few from Laneige and The Face Shop and I like them but I kinda forgot about using them lately. The dark and/or the intense colors should be really nice because typically you get a good stain from them. Excited for your reviews!

They don’t look as pigmented as the vamplify glosses but these could be better than their horrid liquid lipsticks (they crumble too much and make a mess)
