Wow . . .I wasn’t expecting the shadows to swatch like that. I like the Nero Vulcanico eyeliner and the blush. Chanel always seems to put out great blushes.

I really like the Alfresco palette, but I think it might be too similar to The Estee Edit Gritty palette, which I already own. Do you think there is enough difference to warrant owning both?

My, that eyeshadow palette looks pretty good – no obvious duds. The red lipsticks are gorgeous too.

Well, it is Christmas Day here in Oz – so Merry Christmas Christine to you and your family!

Chanel is full of surprises here! That is the first non-baked, non-quad eyeshadow palette I’ve seen from them that didn’t totally suck! I’m thunderstruck and dumbfounded, in a really good way!
The cream eyeshadow looks pretty good, too, as does the blush.

I think the lines are accepting the need for more pigmented and creative colors in better formulas. The cat’s out of the bag. It’s no longer a trend, it’s a requirement. I think it’s great that Chanel did this. I can already envision the smokey eye looks with Nero Vulcanico (939) and the #9 shadow. This is a wonderful collection. Can go with lighter eyeshadows and dramatic lip or reverse it and go with darker, smokier eye and a glossed lip. Really well edited colors. Pretty impressive. Who knew ‘greenery’ would take so long?

Verderame looks so interesting!Im so into these cream shadows with different undertones in them. The blush shade is so rich.A perfect spring tone.Chanel always does gorgeous blush shades.Their Caresse Blush is one of my all time favorites and I still use it often. The Eterea Rouge Allure Ink Liquid Lip Color is just sad no pigment at all.It is definitely not ink-like so the name of the product is confusing because it is so sheer.

Your eye look sold me on the eyeshadow palette, Christine! It’s brightening, cohesive, and beautifully shows the versatility if the shade range. The palette also offers lighter shades for Chanel’s Antique Bronze single shadow and the greens in the Tisse D’Autumne palette. I’m so pleased with the blush shade as well as the eyeliners. A lipstick will come home with me, too. All in all, a beautiful Spring collection!

Beautiful, all of it 🙂 Of course, I will wait for Christine’s reviews as Chanel’s collections always look good to me, but their shadow palettes have been disappointing in the past. The blush is absolutely stunning!
