Ehrrmahgawd!! Code Elegantes!!! So glad I didn’t get the Burberry Festive Eye Shimmer -this one looks a lot more pigmented, the colors more distinct, think some of the golds can double as highlighters. Total sucker for gold, needs to be mine! And Libre lipstick looks like a peach that I can wear. Oh dear

The quads look decent which is nice to see! The lippies look nice too. Can’t wait to see your reviews on these. There’s not really any color payoff for Beige Dore and Noir Moderne even if they are balms they seem to sheer to me. Especially Beige Dore, it looks really pretty in the tube but it just looks like a regular balm on the lips.

I am a Chanel junkie and usually buy the quads regardless of their performance, although I tend to have better results than the reviews would indicate. I love the look of both of these quads, the blush is lovely and Chanel Stylos Yeux are always amazing, IMHO. I am pretty much set on the lipstick front although several of the colors are lovely, I am sure they are very dupable. Can’t wait for reviews.

Chanel is killin’ it for another wonderful spring collex!
Love the one Velvet, Libre a LOT! Also Noir Petrol, of which I’m sincerely hoping that my Sephora Contour in Diving In Malaysia is a close enough dupe.
But it’s the 2 eyeshadow quads that have me feeling that there’s another one or two Empriente du Desert quality and performance type offerings here….in which case, you know I’ll have to go for it!

Twins again with the similar faves – I also love Diving in Malaysia (and GOSH Metallic Brass is a very close dupe). When they discontinued Snakeskin Dress, I thought they might be on the way to discontinuing Diving in Malaysia too and was so worried I bought two more. I just hope they’ll be okay unopened!

I like both of the “Codes” quads but especially Codes Elegants – it puts me in mind of my beloved Empreinte du desert. And Codes Subtils – I especially love #2 and 4 and the whole thing reminds me a bit of Tisse Rivoli . I wonder if I can resist buying both of them and just get one.

Do I need yet another peachy nude blush? Not in a thousand years. Am I going to drool over Elegance Joues Contraste for months? Of course. The eyeshadow palettes look gorgeous too! I’m still kicking myself for missing out on Empreinte du Desert from this summer. I’m pretty sure I can dupe most of those shades, so I don’t think I’ll be picking any of this collection up, but I’m pumped to see a luxury release looking so good!

Update: Empreinte du Desert seems to still be available on a few online retailers… I think I know where my first holiday paycheck will go! I think if I’ve been lusting after something for nigh on six months, it’s a sign that I need it!

I’m crazy excited about the Mat Taupe stylo yeux. I’ve been searching forever for the perfect light-to-medium brown eyeliner to suit my super-pale lashes and eyes. I hope it reviews well. I know you haven’t had good experiences with the stylo yeux in the past, but I have loved every single one that I’ve purchased (they’ve been creamy yet smudge proof and long wearing for me).

Oh goodness, another lovely Chanel collection. The second quad is absolutely beautiful – the warm colors are perfect for me. Also Elegance looks awesome, as well as the RA Libre. I was going to try to tone my makeup spending down in 2017 especially with eyeshadow palettes as I have so many, but don’t think I can resist that quad. I have to be careful with the shade range of peach, but this one looks like it will work as it is a warm brownish peach. I don’t have luck with the Stylo’s, however, as they tug on application no matter which shade I try. But the Rouge Allure formula is my favorite. I will have to save my pennies and hope this doesn’t sell out in the interim. Thank you, Christine! Great review. Love your new format as well – much easier to navigate and get to the actual review!

I like the sheer colors, but every time I use the Chanel LipShine it gives me a little bump on my lip along my lip line. I’ve tried stoping it and waiting for the bump to clear up, but as soon as I use it again same issue. I’m guessing it could be the fragrance that is irritating my lips. Shame because they are so easy to use.
