Mine are coming tomorrow!! I’m so excited. I loooove fun-colored highlights and even better, they can all double as eyeshadow! I just love the Glow Kits – I feel like the stars have aligned on these with variety/value/quality.

You will LOVE MoonChild on your face!! I’m pale too and the colors just melt into your skin! I got mine today and i’m thinking about picking up just one more in case I ever need one more MoonChild Glow Kit! ? It is seriously that amazing!

Morena Avatar

Wow, I ordered moon child but I honestly think the sweets kit will suit me better. Moon hold is just different, not the same bronze, and gold and frosty white colors as usual but after seeingmkre swatches sweets is pretty different too, wish I had ordered that one instead! Mine arrives today

It’ll look gorgeous on you! Let me know how you like it! Plus if it’s not your favorite you can definitely use the colors as eye shadows or brow bone highlights. There is also this new thing I saw Jeffree Star do with his highlighters. He put his liquid lipstick on and waited until it dried and then patted on one of his highlighters over top of it! It looked stunning! But let me know how you like them! ❤️

I’ve had Gleam since April 10th, & I use the bottom two on a daily basis. Crushed Pearl the most (bottom rt), & Starburst the 2nd most (bottom left). I’m super pale white, like an NC-15 or 14, with neutral undertones. The top left shade (Hard Candy) is def too dark to wear as a highlighter, but I wear it on my eyes sometimes. & Mimosa (top rt) is warmer, so I only wear it when the rest of my makeup can balance it out.
Hop this helps a little 🙂

Oh my goodness! The Moonchild palette is so pretty, but probably too silvery white for my yellow undertones. But that Sweets Palette looks perfect, especially butterscotch. Christine, FYI….for today’s post on the Makeup Revolution highlighters/bronzers, there’s no Comment link, and there’s no way to page backwards to older postings. Not sure if it’s my browser or if there’s a website error.

It does look amazing, this Sweets pallet!! I also have yellow undertones (NC 40/42) and this one seems right up my alley! What I love about these two pallettes is that there’s something for everyone!!! 🙂

The first! No, the second! No, both!! LE? Bad words! ABH exclusives? I’d be covered for life. Well, they would save me from a big pan of crystalline mauve turquoise and free up a choice in a MUFE trio. Omg, how convoluted and self deceptive makeup-think can be. Subtle + offbeat? There. Very there. Despite not being ‘into’ highlighter.

Are these going to be on their website only, or launching in stores for fall?

I really want Moonchild, but I prefer buying through a store so I can take advantage of other offers and so forth.

Ok, I really want both. Well – all the glow kits. I have Gleam and I love it. Sweets might be too dark for me, but stil so pretty…

Staci Avatar

I ordered moonchild. I’m not even sure what I’m going to use it for. It was just so different that I needed it. Here’s to hoping it scores well.

It looks like some of these are iridescent. Would you be able to provide swatches over a black base so that we can see how the color changes?

I am love these palettes but not sure I really need more highlighters! I know I have dupes of every one in Moonchild except maybe Star. Same with the Sweets palette – pretty sure I can dupe all of them except Grape…which I love but I don’t know that it’s worth buying an entire palette for. I’ll probably wait this out unless I get some crazy good deal.

Sabrina Avatar

I got Moonchild yesterday and was very pleased with the quality! The colors aren’t as intense and scary as I imagined, so I think I can make all of them work. Yay for ABH releasing a product in a professional manner and also making sure it’s top quality!

Mo Merrell Avatar

Eh, I’m into the whole glow thing…I gets my shine on the cheekbones on but I’m not walking around with blue and lilac fairy dust on my cheeks. It’s just unrealistic to me. I see the purpose for MUA and vloggers but will I buy an ENTIRE kit…eh nah.

Bonnie Avatar

I have to admit I bought both of these the day they launched!! ? Just like the Serpentina palette I just couldn’t wait for reviews I was afraid they’d sell out and they look so incredible!!! But I hope unlike the Serpentina palette, these do well!!!! Also, these colored highlighters are more unique and ABH usually delivers on highlighter formulas! Fingers crossed!

SNH Avatar

You can always use the others as eyeshadow toppers or inner corner eye/brow bone highlight? Ordered mine, can’t wait to play with it!

I’ve been waiting for cool toned highlighters from mainstream brands forever! I wish Moonchild wasn’t LE but the shades are what I need. I wish the purple was less pinky but I’ve been dying for a grayish/silver shade and a blue. Butterscotch in the other palette looks like a good alternative to Becca’s Opal, grr I wish it was available seperately. I’m glad these options are out there though

Claire L Avatar

Love, love, love both kits! Didn’t think I’d say this but I think I’ll go for the Sweets palette over the Moonchild palette. It’ll be the first ABH Glow Kit I’ve bought.

Trina Avatar

My order finally arrived today! I got moonchild I’m a sucker for color shift! Now i wants sweets it’s so different from the other 3 orig kits. I hope the different formula of moonchild still performs well.

Cory Avatar

Yes! I am so excited to get my Moonchild today! C’mon, FedEx! Love Purple Horseshoe the most, & I saw a gif of swatches on Insta that were taken in low lighting with just a little bit of light reflecting on them, & they all shone so prettily, & almost iridescent.. but Purple Horseshoe, Pink Heart, & Lucky Clover looked the prettiest to me. Just going to have to see for myself though!

Christine, it looks like your Sassy Grape & Butterscotch are cracking, were they like that when you got them?

Christine Avatar

The photos are as I received them. They are more separated than cracking, but I dropped both palettes a few times from 2-3 feet over hardwood. I pressed the edges of Sassy Grape and Butterscotch with my fingertips to smooth it out, and I dropped the palette a few more times and didn’t have any issues.

LindaP Avatar

Hate to be a buzz kill, but I honestly don’t get these highlighters. Blue, gray and bright white on your face? I guess it would enhance a few skin tones? I’ll wait for the reviews and see how it works because I am perplexed.

I am also so over the highlighting craze, and launch after launch after launch of products, but that’s just my personal opinion.

Carrie Avatar

I wear Becca’s pressed powder in Pearl highlight as my everyday. As someone with porcelain skin the white justs add a very lovely glow to me – not all of us can pull off golds/bronzes that highlights often come in 🙂
