Sleek Makeup Pixie Pink Blush

Sleek Makeup Pixie Pink Blush ($6.99 for 0.27 oz.) is a brightened, light-medium cotton candy pink with strong, blue undertones and a matte finish. The texture was soft and silky with some excess powder kicking up in the pan, but on the skin, the blush didn’t look powdery, which is where it counts the most. It was richly pigmented, and the silky quality of the powder made it easier to blend on the skin. I noticed it darkened on my skin, though if you are naturally drier, you may find it stays truer to the color in the pan. It wore for eight and a half hours before breaking down. NARS Roman Holiday (LE, $30.00) is darker. ColourPop Mochi (P, $8.00) is warmer. ColourPop Thumper (P, $8.00) is more muted. NYX Flamingo (P, $5.00) is . Urban Decay Quickie (LE, ) is darker. Milani Delizioso Pink (10) (P, $7.99) is darker. NARS Mistinguette (LE, $30.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Sleek Makeup Pomegranate Blush ($6.99 for 0.27 oz.) is a brightened, reddish-plum with cool, pink sheen and warmer, coppery undertones. It was very, very pigmented, so a little went a long way, and I’d recommend using a feathery brush with this and building up color to your desired intensity. Thankfully, the powder is soft, smooth, and blendable, which will make it easier to diffuse or sheer down the color if you’ve applied to much. It wore for nine hours before fading on me. NARS Dolce Vita (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, warmer. MAC Hot Nights (LE, $21.00) is darker, brighter, cooler. IT Cosmetics Magical in Mauve (P, $24.00) is less shimmery, darker, cooler. ColourPop Cheerio (P, $8.00) is lighter, brighter. Tom Ford Beauty Pink Glow #5 (LE, $55.00) is warmer. Surratt Beauty Rougeur (P, $32.00) is less shimmery, darker. NARS Adoration (Right) (P, ) is lighter. IT Cosmetics Radiant in Rose (P, $24.00) is lighter, warmer. NARS Goulue (P, $30.00) is less shimmery, warmer. Kevyn Aucoin Neolita (P, $37.00) is less shimmery, warmer. NARS Soulshine #3 (LE, $30.00) is darker, warmer. MAC Sweet Samba (LE, $27.00) is lighter, warmer. theBalm Pinstripe (P, $22.00) is darker, warmer. See comparison swatches / compare dupes side-by-side.

Formula Summary: Sleek Makeup Blush ($6.99 for 0.27 oz.) is supposed to be “ultra long lasting” and “highly pigmented.” My experience with their blush formula has been true to both; they’re intensely pigmented and a little goes a long way. The powder’s texture is soft, smooth, and blendable on the skin. The finish varies from shade to shade, so some are more luminous while others can be very frosted and metallic. On my normal-to-dry skin, they last between eight and nine hours on me.

The blushes from Sleek are great! In Italy we compare them to the NARS ones in terms of quality and they are really long lasting and much more cheaper!

Wow, I’ve heard great things about Sleek blushes, looks like they live up to the hype! Pigmented, long-wearing, comes with mirror, and only $7??? I already have the Colour Pop dupe for the pink, and the red is too dark for me, but I’ll definitely be checking out other colors. Are you planning to review other colors?

Oh damn, I was quietly hoping for more too… Anyway so nice you did these, I was wondering how they would fare against higher-end options (I only have the blushes in an Eye & Cheek palette and none of the full-size yet), thanks 🙂

Pomegranate looks yummy. I usually gravitate towards pinks but I like the plummy sheen of this one. I’m visiting the UK soon so I’ll definitely look out for these in drug stores. I really want to see them in person. The price point is great! I’m liking the mix of drugstore/high-end reviews lately 🙂

Pomegranite was one I wore a lot this last winter. I have to be very light-handed with it because of the pigmentation. I love the color and finish. Pixie Pink is such a fun, bright bubble-gum pink.

They both look beautiful on you. Even though I’m really fair I like Pomegranate for flushed look for fall. I’ve been browsing on their site.

These are amazing!! I just purchased Lovejoy from NARS because of your recommendation so Thank you. It’s my 9th one now but I’m very interested in these… They’re beautifully pigmented and have wonderful colors. I looked on the ‘Where to Buy’ little box but there wasn’t a place listed. Do you order from their website? And how much is delivery to the U.S?
Thank you for always hooking me up!

I want both but I don’t need them. Do you have Flushed to compare with Pomegranate? I think they’re basically the same color but Flushed is matte. I own Flushed and it’s one of my faves.

Ginny Avatar

Flushed is from Sleek. It might be a little darker and cooler than Pomegranate. It’s matte, but not flat, and diffuses really nicely.

Blushes from Sleek are beyond amazing. I have the Sugar palette and they’re probably the most superior blushes I own in terms of quality.

omg Pomegranate looks like a beauty and really suits you Christine! I am wanting to order and live in Canada but I don’t know of anyone that’s really ordered in Canada personally so is there anyway you know if Canadians get charged in duties and other fees? The exchange rate for us sucks right now as well but I really like that pomegranate blush!!
