Oooh, that eyeshadow palette looks like it could be a suitable alternative to the UD Vice 3 palette (if the quality is there).
I agree!!!
Well, the shadow palette reminds me of UD Vice. I already got UD Spectrum, so I’m good. The lip glosses look interesting, wonder if that light pink pearl is holographic?
This looks a lot of fun! Reminds me a bit of the UD Urban Spectrum which I haven’t bought yet as it hasn’t come out here in the UK yet. I didn’t have Jem first time round in the 80’s, she was too punk rock for me at the time ?, I liked Barbie and Sindy better!
For some reason, I’m super excited about this palette! It screams me! Warm shades with pops of color. Do you plan on reviewing these items Christine?
I thought I was done with my holiday shopping but that Gem palette is smokin hot!
Oh wow this was my favorite show! I wanted to be her so bad. I might even still have my jem doll in the attic in a box. I definitely have to get at least one piece. I feel really old right now!
Trina, I know what you mean! My kids were preschoolers when Jem was on television! That being said, I wasn’t a Jem fan ( a little too old at the time ) but I am LOVING this palette! It’s so eye-catching!
A few of the shades of the palette look great to me, especially that lilac taupe shade.
Ugh, neeeeeeeed the mirror, want the rest. Jem is my JAM.
Ditto sister!
That eye palette is awesome!
My daughter adored Jem and the Holograms as a kid and even recently (in her 20’s) asked me to make her a Jem dress for Halloween and she got hold of a wig, did the makeup, etc. and went out to a party and possibly to trick or treat as Jem!
A much as the reboot movie feels strange knowing what the cartoon was like. I’m excited for palette actually so long as the product is actually good.
The bright side is that this collection appears to be based on the cartoon branding, not the movie abomination.
Anna, I have to agree. Thankfully this collection looks like it’s based on the show and not the movie. The translation seems weird for the film. Manic Panic also has a really cute coordinating collection of hair dyes with the original cartoon characters in all of their different hair colors from the show.
The eyeshadow palette is tempting… I like the pinks, purples and blues, especially since the bright pink seems to have some purple duochrome going on and I cannot resist that. I’ll wait to see a review though, cause it’s looking like a mini-Vice palette with a lower price tag lol
The palette reminds me of the UD Vice family. Nothing wrong with that, as it’s a lot more affordable, but I wonder how pigmented the shadows are going to be.
Oh man, they’re bringing this back too?! Well, I honestly think the palette is a tad over priced. But, I’m interested to see how all of this does. Sephora brand has been doing some good stuff lately. But the whole theme here isn’t really driving me nuts. It looks a little bit like the stuff my daughter used to play with when she was younger. But, I’m sure there is a market for it and that is totally fine. I’m sure some of the pieces will work for me.
I was too old to watch Jem, so I wasn’t a fan of the cartoon. I love the colors and packaging on this, though. I totally agree the big eye palette looks like it could be from the UD Vice line. But will the quality be good? When I’ve swatched Sephora shadows in the past, I haven’t found myself very impressed.
Ooooh, that eye shadow palette looks lovely – lots of beautiful colours. Please make it really good Sephora!
What a fun collection! I like the look of the palette and that so lovely pink lipstick.
Yasssss!!!! My childhood! Excited for the Manic Panic hair colors too! Give me ALL the Jem things! So sad the movie looks all “emotional” though LOL I was all about the Misfits as a kid and yes, I bought the dolls… it was the only way to get the cassette singles!!! Christine, I pity your generations sad and unfulfilling childhood. PITY! LOL!!!! xo
I know this isn’t traditionally “holiday” but I’m so excited to see a company actually branch out and do something exciting with a collection! Super cute, and would be a great gift for a certain age group.
Oh man, that palette looks like KVD Mi Vida Loca and an UD Vice palette had a baby!!! I am quite intrigued by it and perhaps a lip product or two!
I have a video of me at my fifth birthday party singing the Jem theme song! Haha. This palette looks amazing!
I do like how the palette is arranged in quads. Hmmm , I haven’t been the biggest fan of sephora eyeshadow though
From the looks of it I might just be getting the entire collection. I love Jem and the Holograms. I always loved the show and still do. I know i will get a lot of use out of the palette.
Oooh, this palette looks like fun!! As a fan of the cartoon tv show and dolls as a child and liking the overall look of this palette, I may have to indulge. It definitely reminds me of an Urban Decay Vice palette.
Sweet baby Jesus, I want all the things!
I NEED THIS!!! I was a kid watching Jem, grew up on her and My Little Pony, Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, Robotech, ThunderCats! I even had her doll! Turning 40 made look back at my youth. I better save up now!
This looks like great fun!
Wow! I agree with everyone that eye shadows palette look like UD. They look gorgeous!
I wonder what cover of design they go to put on?
I’m fan and have a video!
Love everything about this! NEED THIS! Even if it’s just for nostalgia purposes!
Not sure if this is a mistake but on the Sephora website the liquid lip set is $25.00 while the individual lipstick is $16.00. Either way, this collection looks great!
They must have changed it since I posted (I got the info from their site!).
Ordered the eye palette and lip set last night. Can’t wait!
I didn’t grow up watching Jem and the Holograms, but I’ve been getting into the cartoon recently. I want that pink lipstick! You know what other collection would be really adorable? A Rainbow Brite one! :3
