Well, the shadow palette reminds me of UD Vice. I already got UD Spectrum, so I’m good. The lip glosses look interesting, wonder if that light pink pearl is holographic?

This looks a lot of fun! Reminds me a bit of the UD Urban Spectrum which I haven’t bought yet as it hasn’t come out here in the UK yet. I didn’t have Jem first time round in the 80’s, she was too punk rock for me at the time ?, I liked Barbie and Sindy better!

For some reason, I’m super excited about this palette! It screams me! Warm shades with pops of color. Do you plan on reviewing these items Christine?

Trina, I know what you mean! My kids were preschoolers when Jem was on television! That being said, I wasn’t a Jem fan ( a little too old at the time ) but I am LOVING this palette! It’s so eye-catching!

My daughter adored Jem and the Holograms as a kid and even recently (in her 20’s) asked me to make her a Jem dress for Halloween and she got hold of a wig, did the makeup, etc. and went out to a party and possibly to trick or treat as Jem!

Anna, I have to agree. Thankfully this collection looks like it’s based on the show and not the movie. The translation seems weird for the film. Manic Panic also has a really cute coordinating collection of hair dyes with the original cartoon characters in all of their different hair colors from the show.

Oh man, they’re bringing this back too?! Well, I honestly think the palette is a tad over priced. But, I’m interested to see how all of this does. Sephora brand has been doing some good stuff lately. But the whole theme here isn’t really driving me nuts. It looks a little bit like the stuff my daughter used to play with when she was younger. But, I’m sure there is a market for it and that is totally fine. I’m sure some of the pieces will work for me.

Yasssss!!!! My childhood! Excited for the Manic Panic hair colors too! Give me ALL the Jem things! So sad the movie looks all “emotional” though LOL I was all about the Misfits as a kid and yes, I bought the dolls… it was the only way to get the cassette singles!!! Christine, I pity your generations sad and unfulfilling childhood. PITY! LOL!!!! xo

I know this isn’t traditionally “holiday” but I’m so excited to see a company actually branch out and do something exciting with a collection! Super cute, and would be a great gift for a certain age group.

Oh man, that palette looks like KVD Mi Vida Loca and an UD Vice palette had a baby!!! I am quite intrigued by it and perhaps a lip product or two!

Jackie Avatar

Oooh, this palette looks like fun!! As a fan of the cartoon tv show and dolls as a child and liking the overall look of this palette, I may have to indulge. It definitely reminds me of an Urban Decay Vice palette.

Naheeda Avatar

Wow! I agree with everyone that eye shadows palette look like UD. They look gorgeous!
I wonder what cover of design they go to put on?

I’m fan and have a video!

Anneke Avatar

Not sure if this is a mistake but on the Sephora website the liquid lip set is $25.00 while the individual lipstick is $16.00. Either way, this collection looks great!

I didn’t grow up watching Jem and the Holograms, but I’ve been getting into the cartoon recently. I want that pink lipstick! You know what other collection would be really adorable? A Rainbow Brite one! :3
