Gorgeously gorgeous. I have 2 of these from the first release and, to be honest, the shades I like best of the ones above look a great deal like the 2 I already have (which look a lot like one another, which basically says something about the “colour rut” I happily inhabit….it’s the same with eye shadows!)
As do I, but theyβre greige and purply-greige. Thatβs one of my ruts, because mauves often lean too warm pink on me. Now I can score my real rut….the Genevieve colors! I like this formula a lot. Enough depth of pigment, moisturizing. Win, win.
Are the two lippies you have from the range comfortable to wear? I am so loving the tones of these lipsticks and there’s nothing like a lipstick to brighten your day…
Quite comfortable. Wear off fairly quickly, as do most creamy sheerish…because the formula isnβt exactly sheer, but they arenβt major opaque, either…at least in the 2 I got.
Genevieve, the two I have are wonderful. Quite some time ago, I dropped a fair bit of money on a YSL “oil in lipstick” lipstick and the Sephora ones are very similar (and very similar to the Hourglass Girl Stylo ones) in terms of how they feel – very hydrating and glossy. The downside (as with the 2 pricey ones) is that the wear time isn’t exactly earth-shattering but the price is so good and the feel of the lipstick itself is so nice that it more than balances out.
I Want It All. What an amazing looking red glossy lip! However the glossiest I will go in a red is in Mac x Selena Como La Flor or Maria Moretti. Neither of those bleed or slip around on me.
I think I’m better off going with the more neutral subdued shades of these like: Reckless, Be Proud, Dream Bigger or Get Ready. Possibly Girl Gang, too. Kinda hard picking out lipstick for summer knowing that most of the time one will probably have a mask on! ?
Wow, these look stunning! Hoping they get a nice rating!
Wow, these are so melanin-friendly! I’m in love with the brown base tones.
I really like Be Proud as it looks like a modern warm without running overly warm. I also like reckless, but I think I can dupe that one.
Wow, I love Reckless! I bet I can dupe it, though.
I am very much liking these strong, vibrant shades. Girl Gang and My Rules are the ones I am most interested in.
Once again, I donβt get it. So dark for summer.
Exactly my thoughts π
Dream Bigger and Get Ready seem like instant purchases
