Sephora Collection All Occasion Eye Ensemble Review, Photos, Swatches
Sephora Collection All Occasion Eye Ensemble
Sephora Collection All Occasion Eye Ensemble ($49.00 for 0.40 oz.) includes ten of Sephora’s Contour Eye Pencils. I really like Sephora’s eyeliner formula here, because they come in such a wide array of colors, have just enough creaminess/waxiness to glide on without tugging, fairly good color payoff, and wear for eight to ten hours. The only caveat is that they’re listed as having a 12-hour wear time, which I don’t quite get to. All but one of the shades in this set are part of the permanent range, and they’re all full-sized, so the set is a value of $100.
Diamonds are Forever is described as a “silver.” It’s a medium silver with subtle, cool undertones and a metallic shimmer. It had decent pigmentation in a single stroke, and it was mostly opaque after two layers. It lasted for nine hours on me. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Girl Talk is described as a “pink beige.” It’s a light-medium, golden beige with a hint of gold sparkle over a pearly sheen. It had semi-sheer color payoff in one pass, and it was only buildable to semi-opaque color. I wish this one was more pigmented. Applied, the color started to thin after eight and a half hours of wear. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Girls Night Out is described as a “gold.” It’s a medium-dark gold with a metallic sheen. It had good pigmentation in one stroke, and it had a nice, creamy consistency that applied evenly. It wore well for nine and a half hours before thinning. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Welcome to My Loft is a cool-toned, purpled taupe with a pearly sheen. This shade seemed softer than most others in the formula, and it had decent to good color payoff. On me, it wore well for just over eight and a half hours. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Tiramisu is described as a “brown.” It’s a medium-dark brown with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. This had really good color payoff in one pass, and it applied beautifully. It lasted for almost ten hours on me. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Clubbing Stilettos is described as a “black.” It’s a rich, deep dark black with subtle, silver sparkle over a satin finish. It had nice pigmentation, and it was really creamy and smooth on the skin. It lasted for nine and a half hours on me. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Black Lace is described as a “black.” It’s a deepened black with a satin-matte finish. It had good pigmentation in one stroke, and it was buildable to fully opaque color payoff in two layers. It wore well for almost nine and a half hours on me. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Good Mood is described as a “jade.” It’s a green-leaning teal with a pearly sheen. It had decent to good color payoff in one pass, and it was buildable to fully opaque color payoff with two strokes. It lasted for nine hours on me. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Summer Cruise is described as a “turquoise.” It’s a brightened, medium blue with a pearly shimmer-sheen finish. It had semi-sheer pigmentation in one stroke, which was buildable to mostly opaque coverage. It lasted for nine and a half hours on me. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Purple Stilettos is described as a “purple.” It’s a brightened, medium purple with fuchsia undertones and a pearly sheen. It had semi-opaque coverage in one pass, and it was closer to opaque color after two passes. It showed signs of fading after nine and a half hours of wear. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.

Ooh, I think I like the look of this better than the UD eye pencil set. They look quite pigmented too!
Yay!
Welcome to My Loft is beautiful!!! Any ideas on a powder dupe?
I’m not familiar with powder eyeliners!
Sorry! I meant a powder eyeshadow? 🙂

I know! I wish it could be bought on its own, but it seems to be the one LE in this set!
I was really looking forward to a holiday set for these because they are my favorite liners at the moment. I was disappointed in the color choices though, was really hoping for a nice fall collection with some LE shades, or at least some of the many gorgeous permanent ones. The only ones I like I already have and the rest are meh. Other than the matte black and brown the rest seem more spring/summer to me. It is a good deal at $5 each. I will wait for clearance and take my chances. I saw last spring/summers liner collection at my local Sephora yesterday in the clearance section, however it was full price. That one has some interesting colors if you like brights.
I was surprised only one shade was LE, though it’s still a nice set/deal – but definitely depends on whether you love or would use the colors!
Good Mood certainly puts me in a good mood, what a gorgeous green! I quite like this set. It might not be exceptional but still, I’d be happy if I found this under the Christmas tree 😉
It would be a fun gift to get!
I just stocked up on Sephora pencils last week! I had gone in to see if the Marc Jacobs pencils were in stock (the LE gift set – it wasn’t).. and I’m glad I did because when I swatched the MJ’s, they were pretty but not that impressive. I was thrilled to see that Sephora duped a few of them, I absolutely LOVE their eye pencils! Half the price of UD and similar in quality. Tiramisu is my go-to every day brown eye liner. Anyway, I got 6 new gorgeous, full-sized shades, for the same price I would have paid to get MJ’s pencil set shipped to me directly from their retail site. Love the Sephora pencils.
They’re a really great formula — very comparable to many high-end favorites for sure!
I have this set and I love it!!! The liners last a full work day on me and don’t smudge or smear. Welcome to my Loft is wonderful with my green eyes. Makes them stand out w/o being a bold or dramatic color. The liners are contact friendly. I love Pixi, but if you get those liners on your contact, it’s stuck there forever!!!
Sephora products, especially their eyeliners and lipsticks are great quality at a decent price.
I hope they’ll make Welcome to My loft permanent someday! I really liked that one.
Wouldn’t want to get the whole set, but Tiramisu is definitely on my list now. What a rich, lovely brown liner! I don’t think a swatch of brown liner has ever excited me before but that is just stunning. I did buy My Boyfriend’s Jeans recently after seeing it look so good on your in many photos (I share the same weakness for teal/blue/turquoise liners. Lining with UD Deep End in shadow form in jr high is what really kicked off my passion for makeup) and have been really enjoying that one. Will grab some more from the line for sure.
Well worth checking out more shades in the range. So many to choose from! 🙂 I love how rich and smooth Tiramisu is!
So it was Girl’s Night Out! I thought so, though no understanding of sneakiness 😛
I’m not sure what you mean by sneakiness? I try to remember to write down the eyeliner I wear in a photo, but I don’t always remember to.
The Sephora pencils really are a great formula for the price. I own a few. The colours in this set, unfortunately, aren’t that appealing to me but this would definitely make a nice gift for someone who likes their brights.
Maybe next set!
I love these liners. If I didn’t have several of these and dupes for several more I’d pick this set up in a heartbeat!
I almost didn’t since I had so many of them, lol!
I love these pencils. The dark green called Go for a Ride is my favorite eyeliner. Out of this set, I only like Good Mood and Tiramisu.
I’ll have to check Go for a Ride!
Do! Forest green with a bit of gold shimmer. Perfect for your color eyes.
Welcome to my Loft is the standout here for me! 🙂 It’s kind of like what I *want* UD Ether to be (or what I expect it to e from the packaging, of that makes sense, LOL!).
Of *course* it’s the LE one. Murphy’s Law strikes again… 😛
Of course!!
Chanel’s Taupe eyeliner looks to be a decent dupe for Welcome to my Loft, maybe a tad less purple and more taupe. Might be worth a look for those here who don’t want the whole collection.
Good Mood is stunning. By far my favorite shade in the lineup.
Thanks for the heads up, Veronica!
These look really lovely and such a bargain for the set. I particularly like Girls Night Out, My Loft and Good Mood. Cannot wait for Sephora to come to Aus.
YAY for Sephora in Australia!
Awww…Welcome to my Loft is LE? I hope they add that shade–it’s not often seen. Tiramisu looks wonderful–that’s on my list–I have tons of brown eyeliner to get through.
It is 🙁
These are gorgeous. Girl Talk would have been perfect had it been a little darker. Purple Stilettos reminds me of a Wet n Wild shade My bestie and I used all the time in the 80s. 🙂
I wish Girl Talk didn’t have sparkle!
Yeah, that makes it hard to use it as an eye highlighter or on the waterline.
I love their Contour Eye Pencils! I already have three of these!
They are nice!
Really good set for the price but too bad the quality isn’t really there for some of the shades!
I hear ya!
Hmm I’m debating on this or the Marc Jacobs Highliner set. Which one do you think is better? I’m guessing Marc Jacobs! I was just about to do a search on here to see if you reviewed it!
I like both, though neither are perfect. My leaning is towards the MJB if you like the colors, as it’s more expensive to purchase them full-sized vs. Sephora is $10 any time.
this has been on my wish list for a bit, decided against the UD set over this 1. Glad the sale is soon 🙂
Awesome 😀
I like Welcome To My Loft.
Me too!
I already have so many of these that I probably wont buy this set but I really have been enjoy most of the Sephora Collection stuff of recent! They have a few “gems” in there that I think are sooo fairly priced. Its good for competition (with other brands) too!
They’ve been doing really nice things lately!
I like! Most of all I really like Good Mood. Loads of nice pencils in classic and fun colours. I hope Sephora here will hvae this set. I think it’s time to start stalking the store, or simply ask, stalking just feel funnier, though more expensive possibly 🙂
Good Mood is a nice one – always reach for that one for a darker, greener teal!
Christine how would you say these wear on the waterline? Or are they even waterline approved? I really want a good black for my waterline and am wondering what brand you would recommend best for that:) thanks so much!!!
Hey Brooke,
I’m not sure if they’re waterline approved! I have had the best luck with MAC’s Black Black Chromagraphic pencil!
