Surratt Prismatique Lips Lipstick ($36.00 for 0.08 oz.) is a sparkling lipstick designed to have sheerer color coverage with “glistening shine.” I loved the concept, but the wear time was pretty dismal and some of the glitter traveled during wear. They look gorgeous on, but I feel like they would have been more versatile and functional as a gloss instead of the more lip balm-like formula they went for. There are 14 shades in the range, and I bought and tested seven, as summarized below!

I agree with what you said 100%, it is really a serious shame that these were not formulated as lip glosses instead. Because as glosses, these shades could have been magnificent.

This is not a great collection of lipsticks – most of the colours are way too pale and look the same on the lips. Plus their ratings are pretty poor. For the price you can do better elsewhere – Nars, Bite Beauty etc.

Many very similar colors but I liked the look. Don’t care for matters and these are total opposites. I see your point about glosses being better and perhaps more cost effective.
