Round-up: MAC Huggable Lipcolours Overview & Thoughts

MAC Huggable Lipcolour ($20.00 for 0.11 oz.) will release online on May 7th and hit stores on May 14th. The best way to describe these is that: it’s a semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage formula with moderate shine, some cling, and moderate wear with some hydration. They apply best if you let the formula melt slightly against the warmth of your lips prior to pulling the bullet across your lips. Some of the shades are more similar to each other than not, so not all nine (that I have, there is one more that I don’t have) will appear distinct, especially if you have more color to your natural lips than I do.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

They’re both sheerer lipsticks, but Urban Decay’s is thinner, less glossy/shine, and not as hydrating, but they are more pigmented and go on more evenly (generally).

For SURE!
Especially since I undoubtedly have dupes.
Besides, I plan to try really hard to score Bite Beauty’s LE Lip Lab offering for May, unless it’s a shade that’s truly hideous for me.

Oh my goodness! I LOVE LOVE these! I waited to try them out in store and walked out with 3 (flaming lips, fashion force, and soft talkin’)…the formula is so nice on my lips, and the finish is gorgeous…perfect for summer. These are what I would have wanted out of the wash and dry lipsticks. Sorry you didn’t live soft talkin’…It’s so so pretty on me and may be my favorite. It also appears to be the shade from the promo image. Wish these were permanent!
