That’s a very interesting colour range. They play basically on a single shade but provide a wide array of depths and undertones. I like the concept! Hope to see something similar also for other shades (i.e something less … Neutral and more colourful)!
I think they just came out with a red collection.
I looked them up after seeing the picture and thinking this has to be a range targeting women with darker skin tones and it is in fact a line meant to be nudes for deeper complexions.
Yep. And I don’t know your complexion, but I’m fair as hell and find these kinds of shades waaaaaaayyyy more flattering than the ones generally geared towards lighter skintones. Turns out not everyone looks good in pinks/mauves/purples. My lips actually take those brownie tones and make them look more red and earthy and just really wearable.
I agree. I’m also fair, with a muted neutral-warm-olive complexion, so pinks are usually unflattering on me, and mauves often turn bright pink. My best nudes are lighter browns (like chai-colors) or lighter rusty oranges (like Maybelline’s Caramel Collector.)
I do too. It’s pretty creative and inclusive.
I’m really liking Victress, Her Magic and Closer! I’ll be curious to see how well they rate when it comes to actual wear.
Her Magic and Closer would be my picks!
I love brown-based lippies!!! And these look great!
I am a sucker for a brown based lip. I love all of these and my wallet would be in trouble if I weren’t still wearing a mask all of the time. Also, several look similar to Nars Linda which is my lipstick that got away! To this day, I do not understand why I didn’t buy it when it came out.
Holy Moly these look good! And in my favourite colours too! Just when I was thinking (how could I?) that I really shouldn’t buy any more lipsticks this year….. Brown based lipsticks are my idea of heaven.
I like Profits, Limitless, Her Magic…
Now THIS is a color story I can get behind. Gorgeous! I’ve also heard good things about them, but I’ve found youtube video swatches to be wildly inaccurate on my computer. So happy to see them swatched here instead!
