Heavy Crown is a muted, medium brown with subtle, warmer undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had semi-opaque coverage that was buildable, but the consistency was thinner and firmer in the pan (whereas the other shades were softer), so it was a little harder to grab color onto the brush as well as harder to blend on the skin. On me, this shade wore for seven and a half hours. Tarte Contour Soft (Tarteist) (LE, ) is warmer (95% similar). MAC Taupe (P, $24.00) is lighter (95% similar).
