Royal is a dark, grayish black with neutral-to-cool undertones and a frosted finish. It went on a lot darker than I anticipated given how it appeared in the pan. The texture was soft and blendable with a touch of looseness in the pan, though it was not messy to work with in practice. This shade had opaque coverage that stayed on well for eight hours.
