Cendre is a softened, medium-dark taupe with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. It had decent to good color payoff but wasn't as pigmented as other shades. The eyeshadow had a slightly firmer press, and it wasn't as blendable as the other shades. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours. Urban Decay Rewind (LE, $18.00) is warmer.
