Urban Decay Gridlock Vice Hydrating Lipstick ($19.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a brighter, medium purple with warm, pink undertones and a satin finish. It was a denser, firmer matte compared to most in the range, so it had light tug during one-stroke application, but it wasn't painful or difficult to work with.
It also felt thinner and a little clingier in comparison to other mattes, which had more of a velvety creaminess to them. The color was mostly opaque, buildable, and long-wearing as it lasted for over six hours, left a very strong (pink) stain behind, and was just barely hydrating.
