Baja is a rich, medium-dark orange with warm, red undertones and a matte finish. The texture felt a little drier and almost chalky, but it had opaque color payoff in a single layer and applied evenly, and I didn't have any trouble blending it out. It just didn't feel as luxe by touch compared to past mattes by the brand. The color stayed on nicely for eight hours.

The shade Baja from Urban Decay’s Born to Run palette is incredibly pigmented and buttery smooth. It’s a vibrant orange color that is the same color in the pan as it is on the lid. The only thing that’s a possible negative about this shadow is that it is very pigmented. Blending it out can be a challenge if you put too much shadow on the lid. Other than that, it’s great. Beautiful color, beautiful formula.
