Heatwave is a rich copper with strong, orange undertones and a metallic sheen. It had nearly opaque color payoff in a single layer, which was opaque with two layers. The eyeshadow had a smooth, moderately dense texture with light creaminess that was easy to apply and blend out on my lid. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before it started to fade on me.
