Detour is a muted, medium yellow-brown with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented and had a smooth, velvety texture, which felt lovely in the pan, but it did not blend out as readily as I anticipated as it had a tendency to go on unevenly and adhere very strongly to those areas. I experienced that even over primer, which usually cures that type of issue, so it took more effort to get a softer edge. It wore well for eight hours on me before I noticed slight fading.
