Coal is a medium-dark black with subtle warm brown undertones and a matte finish. It's highly likely you have something in your stash like this--most matte blacks, unless they're super dark, will be similar. This one had good color payoff when I applied with a brush, but it is prone to sheering out so it doesn't look too intense applied unless you layer it. With a black, sometimes blendability is more important, and that's one area this one is good in. See comparison swatches.
