Up Too Slate is a medium-dark, purple-taupe with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had good pigmentation with a soft, blendable texture that was easy to work with. The texture felt a little denser compared to the rest of the palette. The eyeshadow started to fade after seven and a half hours of wear. MAC Hypnotizing (LE, $16.00) is less shimmery, darker.
