Don't Stand Black is a medium-dark black with a mostly matte finish, though it had a very slight sheen compared to the more matte finishes of the other shades. This was the weakest performing shade in the palette, as it didn't stick as well to bare skin, even though the texture didn't feel stiff or dry (soft but powdery).
