Slayer is a deep taupe with subtle, browner undertones that ran neutral-to-cool to my eye. The texture was smooth, slightly firmer in the pan than the other shades. I expected it to be more challenging to blend out, but it wasn't so bad; it wasn't effortless, but when applied in sheerer layers, I didn't even notice blending being an issue--it was only if I packed it on. It wore for eight hours on me.
